Ok everyone i have a bit of a problem, well not really a problem, i just need some advice on how to get this chick to be a little more interested in me.

Ok her name is cassi, she isnt out of my league but she is at the top of it. Lately we have been talking alot more and stuff and i think im beginning to become a best friend, that happened to me once before, i dont wanna do it again. So how can i still show interest in her whithout being put into the best friend category and without her knowing how i feel about her (i dont think its time for her to know yet).

Thanx everyone, also any tips on how to get her to see me as more then just a friend?

You be yourself, and don't become a yes man: If she says something stupid, enlighten her as to the holes in her logic, or correct her on incorrectly presented facts. The point is, if she begins to see that you have a bit of a rough edge; an untouched side, she might get interested. Or, she might not. Either way, fuck it - nothing to lose, right? Good luck with her.

Ok we are going to the movies tomorrow. Things are looking up. Now im stuck with making moves, i aint exaactly all that great at it. Does anyone have any advice on how to be less nervous and stuff?

Just relax... Think about her having to please you, not you having to please her. Also, dont be shy to hold her... she can take it how she wants... as a friendly "hold" or more than that.

5 minutes after the movie starts, hold her hand... 5 minutes after that, start getting closer... If she does anything that MIGHT mean she is feeling unconfortable, draw back... Try again after a couple of minutes...

When she gets confortable, you have to start stroking her. She will stroke you back if she has any feelings toward you. Then, if she REALLY has feelings toward you she will most likely rest her head on your shoulders or something. THis is your cue for a small kiss on the cheek or wherever... If she takes this well, she will hold you a bit tighter.

Kiss her on the lips whenever you feel is right.

In order to hopefully lead you away from the "best friend" catagory, try including some sexual, but low key, inuindo (spelling?) in your conversation. The little things you say might trigger her to think about you in a different way than before.

Either that, or they'll make her think you're completely perverted. It's a chance you can decide on.

As far as making moves, don't do anything you don't feel comfortable doing. Just convince yourself that it'll all be okay and it will work. If you just do it without confidence, she will notice, and it won't turn out as well as it could.

And Bleedthrough gave good advice. Just don't over do it with the corrections, because that can get damn annoying.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and sway away from what you want to hear, and what the other people are saying. It is time to make a move.

If you like her in that way, and are starting to move into the best friend category you have to make your move on her. If you dun you might end up being her friend that she comes to when she has guy problems, you'll be her friend that talks to about who she likes, you'll be the friend that sits in the audience at the wedding. The only way to stop that is to let her know how you feel. Granted you dun have to come strait out and tell her how you feel, but there are things you can do that she will get the clue.

If she likes you enough to become a best friend category then you find a better time to act...

You'll know you've been placed in the "best friend" arena when she starts talking about other guys she's interested in, and expects "the male viewpoint" from you. If this happens, either say something like "What would you want me to do?" or disappear (be unavailable) for a few days.

Just don't let those conversations happen. And don't go out of your way to do her favors or buy gifts until she's actually your gf, and you feel like doing them.

Exactly. Don't hang out with her all of the time. Keep yourself a bit reserved. I'm not sure how well I can advise you in your demenor, but I know that when I am hitting on girls I look them in the eyes and smile a lot. Maybe stand a little closer than usual while talking to them, and small innocent touches are good: you pass by her and while "getting by her" you touch her hip. Little things, man.

Ok here's the real advice,

Take the title of "best friend". When you two are alone make your move. The cops will never suspect the best friend.

Ok guys i didnt get to read your advice till now cos my computer was stuffed but thanx anyway.

The movies were ok, nothing happened but at least we got to hang out a bit and get closer (not physically). Anyway i think im going to tell her soon. Just straight out, she not the type of chick that would ditch me as a friend if she didnt want it. She would just tell me shes not interested and we would still be friends. I hope so ayway.

oK last question. how the hell do i tell her! Im not good at these things

OMFG GUYS!!!! Im in! She told me she likes me! That was easy as. I just told her straight after how i felt and all is good. We decided we arnt going out yet but just together if you know what i mean. We arnt gonna rush into things (due to a few minor hitches) but who cares, im happy.
