but im not ass ugly

so i found this girl, waitress at the local restraunt (its a wrap shack to get an idea of the kind of restraunt, fits about 15-25 ppl) so my friend and i are sitting there, pointing out Hot or Nots, and i mention the waitress, now im a sucker for smiles and high pitched voices, and this girl, wasnt slamming, but she was cute, and her voice was perfect.

so then (because its almost the 4th) i goto the local 2nd rate carnival, and see my old friend Cat, and guess who is with her...well i found out that she was actually my age, and shorter than i tought in the first place...which i like

so i think about where i saw this girl before, and i realized she was my waitress!

i wanted to hang out w/ them so badly, but they didnt know that so they said bye, i could care less, i live in a small town so everyone knows eachother...so the next day, i eat there again, boy is it refreshing to see the smile on her face, so i tried to get up the courage to talk to her, and (like most ppl on the board) i failed and left...at this point i know her name, im the only one that knows i like her so she doesnt know my name, ***QUESTION 1***

so i go back the next day, and i did say something to her, but nothing that would imply my crush on her. so, here is my problem!

goto Question 1: hwo do i know if she likes me, any lil sentence that will give it away, like i know "your boyfriend must really like you" tp see if she is taken or not, anything similar, cuz i dont know if she smiles cuz thats her, or just smiles to me or everyone, i dunno

how do i ask her out: any good lines, or what about timing

oh yeah, i forgot, she did sorta like my friend, and he liked her, and he isnt that great looking, but they enver went out, so that increases my chances, cuz she looks for personality, which he has a good one

In my experience, most of the women I know find lines to be cheesy and would prefer a guy just be himself.

I'm guessing by this you are trying to figure out if she'll say yes or not to avoid getting rejected. (I'm sure everyone does this, I know I used to) Noone likes rejection, but you should realize that it happens, and its not the end of the world.

The fact is, it's always going to be a risk. If you think it's worth a shot, then go for it...not doing it and forever wondering is worse in my opinion.

Why are you being so shy? Just talk to her like you would any other person. I don't know how many times I've went on this tangent but... she's not a goddess. Sometimes you guys act like you're so unworthy to be in the same room as a chick let alone speak to her. It's craziness.

Just relax and don't worry if you're coming off as "cool". Ask her name, how long she's been working there, what she's doing after work, give her YOUR number. I'm sure you can take it from there.

Don't ask her if she has a boyfriend. She'll either provide that info herself or if she doesn't and she IS taken obviously the guy doesn't matter.

Oh, and don't keep going to her work everyday. That'll freak her out. If you get positive vibes and you guys are getting along, drop in once a week or so. Don't go overboard.

I actually have a long story about it but I'll spare you and just say that in high school me and a friend thought this girl was WAY out-of-our-league... till one day out of the blue she started talking to us. (we all had the same class) I can honestly say she is one of the best human beings I have ever met.

this is serious? waitress shows you some affection like she does to everyone, 80 year old grandmothers in order to get tips, and you get all these feelings inside you you're not used to, cause you're probably all sexually and affection depraved. so you take a waitress smiling and being friendly as some sort of invite

On that note, talk to her, like Mojo said. She's just human. Ask her if you could buy her lunch sometime, or dinner, or offer to take her someplace nice...tell her you'd like to get to know her better.

"I used to work in a place like this, all the employees were pretty close and joked around all the time" (truth or lie, who gives a fuck) and if she says "yea they are pretty cool people" say something like this:

"Alright, ill give your cook a break, whats an easy thing to cook"

if she says no then say

"I guess ill bust your cook balls then, whats the hardest thing to make"



Basically what you need to do is think of a little skit type thing, and always lead the conversation that way. Its an art, youll get used to it if you do it alot.

Shit, I'm kinda in a situation like this but I dont know how old the waitress is but some of these tips will be good.

one thing i have found a good thing to do is eye contact. this will inform your schmuck ass if she is interested or not.well at least the girls i try to pick up.

Shes a waitress, shes mostly busy and of course you give her eye contact when you are ordering food.

By the way, you must pick up hoes.
