Your problem is that your shy, and afraid of rejection. Even if she likes you, theres still that little voice in the back of your head that says "what if she says no?" right?

Heres what I did to overcome that

Goto the mall. Get a little drunk (loosens you up), just enough to get that light headed calm feeling. Go up to every female you think is too attractive for you, and say the lamest, corniest, most disgusting, jsut downright revolting pickup line you can think of. Do that to 10-20 people, you will realize that after she turned you do (you might get slapped) your still alive! And your still having fun! Go out with the intention of getting rejected, make a game out of it. Bet your buddy you can get slapped more times then he can. Once your done with this, you wont be afraid of rejection anymore.

Then you just have to work on being shy. Being shy, and being afraid of rejection arent always the same thing. To get over being shy, do the same thing. But instead of saying pickup lines, just make eye contact as they are walking by, and say "Hi". Fat, skinny, sexy, ugly, young old, just make eye contact with every female you see and say "hi". You will be surprised how many people will smile and say hi right back.

Once your not afraid of rejection, and your not shy anymore, you wont be asking question like this anymore. In fact, you will feel sorry for the people that do. Remember, the guy that gets turned down the most, is the guy that leaves with the most numbers.

^^^that's some pretty good advice. If you can't be confident enough to ask her out, just don't care enough about getting rejected to ask her out.

don't put too much significance on getting her to "accept" or "reject" you. approach her as you would a librarian, make small talk, and get her email address.
