Sex and music: A pointless survey
So I'm bored and drunk on an entire 40, and thought I'd put forth a survey to add to, for anyone who wants to. It's all for fun and all for pointless trivia, so you're automatically cockslapped if you get all "OMG POintless thread haha I'm 1223" on me. There will be a few different questions, but to keep this from becoming another huge Infra-thread, I'm going to post one at a time. One now, and the next when I feel like it, next after I take a shower, next after I smack off, etc. All will have to do with sex and music, while TRYING to keep it more in the sex area, so Cindy doesn't move this to ARAR and djsam doesn't delete it like he usually does, for he is an immature, piss-poor excuse for a mod and a human being. Anyway, first question:
What song, or songs, do you feel embody your sexuality the most?. You know: Song/songs that somehow explain just perfectly how you are in bed, what you like, how you feel about sex, etc. Focus on the PHYSICAL here, and worry not: The intimate/emotional is for later.
For myself:
-"Magdalena" by A Perfect Circle. This song's lyrics explain well how I feel about the woman I'm with. The overall feel of the music itself is powerfully sexual and slow, yet still "dirty", which is just one of the wonder forms of sex I enjoy.
-"Closer" by Nine Inch Nails. This one doesn't need much explanation, though I'll say it's not just the "fuck you like an animal" line: It's more the "you get me closer to god!" part. This is how being with a woman who's great in bed feels. It's a taste of heaven.
-"Young Lust" by Pink Floyd. This is because I'm a young, lust-filled (yet respectful still) man, basically. Ooooh, babe, set me free!
"Thinking of you" - A Perfect Circle. This song is very sexual, with lines such as "..So delighted with a new understanding/something about a little evil that makes that../unmistakable sound I was hearing/unmistakable sound I know so well./Spent and sighing with the look in your eye/spent and sweating with a look on your face like.....sweet revelation, sweet...surrender." This is such a lurid, sexy way to put forth the image of the "afterglow" of pure, nasty sex with someone who loves it as much as you do.
"Take it Off" - The Donnas. It's a trashy song sung by trashy women who want you to shut up and just fuck them. It's the fantasy of every man, even someone who feels himself a little bit more evolved than that, such as myself. Maybe I wouldn't actually do it, but it's a sexy thought.
"The End" by The Doors. "Ride the snake..."
And, I know this will make you laugh, but: "Big Man With a Gun" By Nine Inch Nails. This is a semi-accurate display of the level of intensity of my sex drive, though lines such as "held against your forehead/I'll make you suck it/maybe put a hole in your head, y'know, just for the fuck of it!" just isn't me. However, this is me, almost exactly, when channeling anger through sex: "I can reduce you if I want, I can devour!/I'm hard as fucking steel, I've got the power!/I'm every inch a man, I'll show you somehow!/Me and my fucking gun, nothing can stop me now!!"
I know that seems funny. But at least Trent Reznor put forth some good insight in that song, even though he admitted to regretting letting that song be included on The Downward Spiral.
"A Warm Place" by NIN: It's an instrumental, and perfect way to put forth the "feel" of romantic and loving, warm sex between myself and a partner.
"Just Like You Imagined" by NIN: Another NIN-strumental, one that perfectly portrays, to me, a moment of intense sexual fire. It can also represent a life, from birth to death, and I see why, but I sexualized this song in my mind as well.
There's more, but this is getting too long. Please contribute some of your own, and check back for subsequent questions! Thanks.

I like Closer too, but I'm suited better by Twist, by Goldfrapp, and Bad Touch by

Re: Sex and music: A pointless survey
I don't think there's a single person who won't say Closer, but I gravitate more toward NIN songs like Sin and The Only Time, when it comes to matters such as this.
Espcially The Only Time, with lyrics like, "I'm drunk, and right now I'm so in love with you, and I don't want to think too much about what we should or shouldn't do... lay my hands on heaven and the sun and the moon and the stars, while the devil wants to fuck me in the back of his car... nothing quite like the feel of something new... maybe I'm all messed up, maybe I'm all messed up, maybe I'm all messed up in you."
I also really dig "White Trash Beautiful," by Everlast, when it comes to getting down. Personal reasons I'd rather not divulge.

I thought you left.
Why did you come back?
And why did you change your name only to tell us that it's you once again?
I'll contribute to the survey once you answer that. .

Re: Sex and music: A pointless survey
"In the City" - cover by one of those ICP, twizted guys. Good memories. Final song from "The Warriors", great movie.
"ohh na na na" - lil john and the eastside boys. Listen to it, and youll know why.
"rain" - guano apes. The bass is just great. And its an emotional charged song. Its a song not to fuck to, but to make love too. check out "maria" by them too.
"In Hope" Boy sets fire. Yay! Emo song! Another one not to fuck too, but to make love too.
"dont wanna miss a thing" Aerosmith. You all know it. make love, not fuck, blah blah blah.
"Revolving Door" Crazy Town. Only if you have a rep for getting ladies can justify fucking to this.
And for the final "Ride of the valkyries" I think its by Richard Wagner. Just a fun song to fuck to.
Just about any old-school sublime. 40oz, Secondhand smoke, Robbin' the hood, anything off those cds rocks.
I like listening to happy songs when fucking, with the occasional depressing one based on memories. Id rather have a fun fuck, where we are laughing and fucking around instead of the drug driven empathy soaked sex session, that was fun at first, but got old real fast.

Re: Sex and music: A pointless survey
Actually, when I saw A Perfect Circle in concert, Maynard said something along the lines of "And what show would be complete without a song about anal sex?" right before they dove into "Thinking of You". And I'm not an idiot, either: I figured out the masturbatory references; "Tugging a rhythm to the vision that's in my head", etc, but I was never one to accept concrete definitions of a song. You're talking to someone who can tell you a song like "Break on Through" by a band called "If you don't already know, I'm going to smack you" is about deflowering a woman or something. The gate is straight, Deep and wide! Break on through to the other side, break on through to the other side!!
No, I don't think that's what the song's about: My point is, I can find a lot of meaning in songs, even if it's unintentional, and relevant only to me.
AS FOR THE THREAD: Sorry. I posted, got really busy, then got home and had a couple Red Dogs. I'm here now. Next part:
The old question: What's your favorite song to have sex to?
This one's unoriginal and shallow, but it's here anyway. As for me, I had a very, very, very good experience in my past with a woman while "Brown Sugar" by "Again, if you don't know, I'm going to smack you" was playing. I have no real "Favorite"; In fact, I doubt many do, so amend the question as necessary. I also knew a woman who once told me her ultimate fantasy was to have rough, nasty sex with a man (not specifically me) while she listened to "You Shook Me All Night Long" by AC/DC.

Pink Floyd (w/ syd Barrett, I lub 'im) - Bike

Pink Floyd- Young Lust
But right now I'm staying off the lovin' path for a bit because my last relationship stint almost turned into
Johnny Cash-Delia.

Re: Sex and music: A pointless survey
The song that springs immediately to mind is Get Low, by the East Side Boys, but pretty much any stoopid-fresh hip hop T&A anthem fits the bill. There's something about that song that makes otherwise prim and proper young ladies writhe and grind, erasing their dignity and self-respect for my amusement. They don't even realize their powerlessness against the bass.
Other than that, I like angry german club music. If it's ferocious and pulsing, it matches my style.
Hey Bleedthrough, did you get my email?

Re: Sex and music: A pointless survey
i think 'living dead girl' is a good summary for me.
"why?" you ask. well, i like dead girls.
but seriously, "beat it upright" by KoRn. just look at the lyrics:
Are you ready for a good pounding baby? (get down)
Are you ready to get it on? (get down, get down)
Don't pretend you're not fucking freaky baby. (get down)
I will spank that ass just for fun (get down, on the ground)
Ass up high, make a motherfu-cker cry
It's so good, that I could die
Help me stay alive.
The time is right
I want to feel it good'n tight.
I'm down to do this all night
I'm gunna beat it upright.
I'll behave
Oh my God, make me beg, my God!
Yes I'm ready for a good flogging baby (my God) (get down)
Come on ream my ass for fun (get down/my God/get down)
Don't let up till my ass is bleeding baby (my God) (get down)
Don't let up until you are done (get down, on the ground)
Ass up high, make a motherfu-cker cry
It's so good, that I could die
Help me stay alive.
The time is right
I wanna feel it good'n tight.
I'm down to do this all night
I'm gunna beat it upright.
We're going on a ride
I'm gunna turn you inside out upside down
Don't try to run and hide,
Yes it's true what they say about my kind.

Well, I'll go out on a limb here. I like Garbage. My best picks to get down and dirty with:
Heaven is Wide
Shut Your Mouth
Stupid Girl
Dumb
Untouchable
Vow
Supervixen
I was always partial to Orgy's Blue Monday too.
Any music I associate with sex is always very rough, cruel, angry, dominating, and violent. What does that say?

Re: Sex and music: A pointless survey
Wow... I don't think I actually have song that embodies my sexuality.
However, my favorite band to have sex to would the Dave Matthews Band. Specifically, "Crash." Fucking GREAT song to make love to.
If we're just fucking though (and those of you in serious relationships, or who've been in serious relationships, know there's difference), I have to go with the Bad Touch by the Blood Hound Gang. That song is fucking hilarious. The best way to have sex is if you can laugh while you do it.

The thing that always gets me is it's just one person. Yes, NIN is very good. But I hate to be associated with the 'image' (and I'm sure we both know what image I'm talking about).
On topic? I don't know. I've never had sex. I don't think I would want to have sex to any music.

My sexuality.. hmm.. at the minute the song that applies to me most was "Mommy caught me one handed" - the Shaggy Parody.
Also, Tenacious D's song is to me what I imagine sex is all about. Fuckig teamwork. The give or take of life. The buying dinner, the romanticising of positions. All those and so much more.
Damn my virginity-ness.

Pardon Me, by INcubus
First line in the song "Pardon me while I burst"
Just about anything by Prodigy, especially the song breathe and smack my bitch up. Good for wild sex, like the sex in fight club where they're goin all over the room. Makin a ruckus. Probably get the cops called by me if I tried that wild fuck-a-thon fest where I throw here around. Though I dont' think I'm strong enough to throw anyone.
yeah I duno which songs, but yeah those ones up there really get it going.
Edit: And just about all of the songs on Mer De Noms, from A Perfect circle. The thread starter got me thinking about the lyrics then I noticed, that it'd be a good cd to fuck to. Tomorrow I see her again, it's been like 3 fucking weeks since I seen her.

Go compare the lyrics of "Pigs" to the lyrics of "No You Don't": Both are derisive and resentful songs, if you ask me: "You fucked up old hag!/You radiate cold shafts of broken glass/What do you hope to find?/You're nearly a laugh, but you're really a cry!" (yes, I know that's not in order)" versus "Baby's got a problem/tried so hard to hide/got to keep it on the surface, because everything else is dead on the other side!", not to mention "so many dirty little places/in your filthy little worn-out, broken-down, see-through soul!".
No, I'm not saying they have the same meaning: I'm saying that both point out and deride the faults of some unnamed person, albeit differently.
Or hell, "Closer" and "Young Lust", for that matter. Both are different takes on the same subject; there's differences in attitudes and lyrical choices and other things, of course, but there's many parallels.
Trent Reznor grew up listening to The Wall, and cites it as a great inspiration, you know. And for what it's worth, I like Floyd more because they did it first and they do it without resorting to hardly any expletives or overly-convoluted metaphors, as NIN, admittedly, does sometimes. Granted, it fits perfectly in some places, but some others need to be changed. I mean.."The flowers of naivete, buried in a layer of frost"? Come on, Trent. And there was no excuse for letting Dr. Dre mess with your shit, either.
Oh, and indeed, Laz, Mer de Noms is perfect fuck music. Almost every single song...Maybe not "over", though.

Infra, as much as I like NIN, comparing them to The Floyd is like comparing Virgina Woolf to James Joyce. They're both similar, but it's clear who's writing is deeper and more full of meaning, more eloquent and more sophisticated, and better in general.

This (http://music.barnesandnoble.com/search/product.asp?userid=ZYw1omtpzA&ean=657036106024) is the soundtrack of the best PC game ever.
Listen to the "Wonderland Woods" sample. That is the most surreal, peaceful, soothing, dreamy music I have ever heard. I've fallen asleep to, tripped to and just drifted off to that track, and others, many a time.
My point? None, really. I just want you all to hear some of that. It's beautiful stuff.

Deftones - change, a dark slow song for dark slow sex, I got a girl to lose her virginity to this very song.
Chevelle - the red, It usually turns a lot of girls on so I am accustomed to playing it when they come over.
Nirvana - smells like teen spirit, "when the lights out, its less dangerous"
The Used - Poetic tragedy, I dont know why, i usually am turned on by dark, slow songs.
NIN - that one song? the i wanna fuck you like an animal song, i dont listen to NIN though
Maralyn Manson - a lot of his songs here, i forgot a couple of the names, but yeah... i like his slow songs.
pretty much anything that creeps me out turns me on

Re: Sex and music: A pointless survey
Damn, music that embodies my sexuality.
Music is so sexual/sensual it's difficult for me to say. Right now I really like two songs but I can't quite explain the sexuality behind it except for possibly the power behind the music.
Disturbed - Remember
System of a Down - Aerials

The band Orgy. They are the most romantic band ever. My favorite lyric?
"I mean that fucking you is strange
And adored by me throughout"

Re: Sex and music: A pointless survey
Nirvana - Rape Me
Anything NIN (mainly closer, get down make love, and sin)
Anything St. Germain
Anything Garbage (great, sexy voice)
Almost anything Prodigy
P. Diddy - Satisfy You, The Benjamins, and I Need a Gurl
Juvenile - Back That Azz Up
Dr. Dre - The Next Episode
East Side Boys - Get Low
Missy Elliot - Work It (wish all gurls had that attitude about life and sex)
That Bloodhound Gang song Ain't Nothing but Mammals or something like that
That's all I can think of now. I know there is a hell lot more. BTW, Trent Renzor is god.

It's all about Nine Inch Nails for me.
For slow sex: The Fragile Sessions.
For passionate sex: The Downward Spiral.
For rough sex: Broken and Fixed.

Re: Sex and music: A pointless survey
Oooh. Well, call me a stupid mainstream guy, but yesterday during the peak of the sex that Slow Motion song came on, think it was by juvinile or whateverthefuckthatblackguyscalled. It worked out nicely. The radio was going, don't think I ever would get that cd or anything.
Marvin Gaye is what I'll hopefully be listenting to next time.
I'd pick NIN, but the girl honestly doesn't like the rough sex, believe it or not.

Re: Sex and music: A pointless survey
Young Lust is fucking great..As is the rest of The Wall, of course, but Young Lust is classic.
NINheads: Don't any of you think "Suck" is a great song? I mean, never mind the title - it's all about the bassline.
