How do you know...
When you really love someone?
Can you love them within a few weeks of knowing them? Does it have to be mutual?
I'm getting this idea that love is a mutual thing shared by people who have known eachother for months if not years. But it could be different for others. What is your definition of love.

Re: How do you know...
There is no real "time" limit on how fast or how soon you fall in love with someone.

Re: How do you know...
You will know, when you find the right person. Time doesn't even have a factor when you find him/her, whatever you prefer.

Re: How do you know...
Well, it's a lot easier to fall in love quick
That way you don't have to spend too much time actually getting to know someone.

Re: How do you know...
I just posted this in another thread, but slightly altered it to fit here.
One thing I've learned is to be very skeptical of feelings for the first, oh...3 months. Things are still new, exciting, intoxicating, all that good stuff. You're still on your best behavior. This is, indeed, a period of infatuation.
Eventually she'll show her petulant, ornery side when she's on the rag. Eventually you'll show your impatience when things don't go your way. Eventually you'll catch each other when neither is having a good day and neither feels like soothing the other. These are just examples, and may not apply to anyone here, but no one's perfect and we all have faults we can't supress forever.
If you conquer stuff like that, and still feel giddy about each other, then it's probably love. If you feel "What did I ever see in you" then it was infatuation or something else.

I think that applies to me. LOL, yeah it definetly does as a matter of fact.
I wouldn't put a time limit on how long before you start to feel it, but rather, like Cindy said, how long it lasts. If you can get pissed at her, see her bad side all of her faults, and you still get that feeling... If you can have a fight and one second be yelling at each other, then the next look at each other and simulataneously realize how stupid you are, and appologize...then its love... IMHO anyways.
