Been a long time since i last wrote or even visited this site! Ive been with this guy for 9 months. theres been a few times that weve got carried away with sex and didnt use a condom. I took pregnancy tests and they all came out negetive. Not that im tryint o have a baby or anything but why cant i get pregnant. When i was with my ex b/f we were trying to have a baby and had sex like twice everyday and there was no positive result. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME?!?!!?!?

Pure coincidence, for the most part. I wouldn't cry infertility quite yet. If you don't understand the specifics of the ovulation cycle on a scientific level, as opposed to experiential, do some reading. Also, go to a doctor and get some bloodwork done. Let the doc in on the nature of your problem, and he/she'll know what to look for. While I think a garden-variety MD can order the labwork, an ob/gyn will probably be better to go see. You'll get referred to one anyway, though, I'm pretty sure.

How old are you, if you don't mind my asking? Your body could just still be getting it's shit straight. In my past, one friend of mine, a virgin at the time, skipped her period for six months. No problem whatsoever; just odd adjustment.

I am almost 17 and I have talked to my doctor. she said that we'll look into things further in the future. That its nothin to be concerned about and that i shouldnt be looking forward to ahving kids yet anyways. She's a family friend and she acts more that then my doc

First time I've ever agreed with CarbonB. You're 17, there's no reason to have a baby this early in life. An infant can't love you, if that's what you want. Shit, a 3 year old doesn't even know what loving it's parents is. I know you want kids, just wait until you're more mature, both mentally and physically. Fucking teenagers... wait, I'm 15. Shit.

Let's not get carried away with off-topic advice here. She clearly stated she doesn't want to be pregnant. She may not exercise the best judgement in ensuring that doesn't happen, but her main concerns, though premature, are with her physiology.

With all the "unplanned" pregnancies that occur, you'd think getting pregnant is a snap. On the average, it takes a couple 6-12 months of "trying" to finally achieve conception.
