Ok, some of you might remember a thread I made a few days ago "Two Girls" and in it I explained about two really good friends of mine Sam and Kelly, and how I wanted to hook up with Kelly but not ruin the relashionship and blah blah blah.

Well, I took Sam and Kelly both out the other night and talked to them both about how I felt and what should be done. Well Sam stormed out of the resteraunt in tears and since hasn't talked to me or Kelly, this being the third time she's quit talking in to us in the last week.

Well Kelly and I finished our supper and then went out to a movie and enjoyed our night.

I dont like to consider that our first date because Sam was there and damn near ruined our night.

Kelly and I have since decided to start seeing each other regularly and pursue a relashionship, I wanted to take her out this weekend but I want it to be special, I have had plenty of dates in my life but never with someone that meant so much to me. What should I do? I have alot of ideas but they all sound stupid and fake like they are in the movies.

I dont know I was thinking like we could go out to a fancy resteraunt, ya know $80 for a steak and $300 for a bottle of wine? And pay someone to serve us on the beach? (heh I sound like such a woman)

But come on guys, you all did me a great favor by telling me how I should get past this problem and that I should stay with Kelly, help me succeed with her

im glade you got the one you want, but i have no idea how old either of you are, or if you have a car or job so i cant help much further. Id asume you have both a car and job but i still cant help, just ask her what she likes to do and do that with her, that should help your relationship.

I'm 17 have both a car and a job. Money is not much of an issue.

^^Even so, start out a bit more modest and simple. People can get carried away by ambience and accoutrements. I think this is how people "fall in love with the concept of love".

But when you go bowling, or to an amusement park, or anything that makes you sweat, contort your body in embarrassing ways or make weird facial expressions, then you really get to know someone and know much sooner whether things will work out.

Ok cool I figured out what I'm going to do.

We're going down to chicago next weekend for "Taste of Chicago" for those of you from out of the midwest or the US and dont know what Taste of Chicago is, its a food festival, heh no its not because we both like to eat, but we're going to go down there and hang out get a hotel room and just kind of chill and get to know each other a little bit, I dont think this is over doing it to much is it?

I didn't hurt her to have fun, I hurt her because I did what I thought would work out for me in the end.
