I go to this park each morning at 6:20am to run 4 miles. I live in S. Florida and this park is my solace. Peaceful, cool, GREEN ( ). Today I go, and this BEAUTIFUL hispanic girl, looks anywhere from 16-20 walks in. She just looks around watching people for a few minutes, until she pulls out a pencil and pad, and starts drawing. Throughout my running I notice the different subjects she's sketching..which attracted me even more -- me being a photographer. About 20 minutes after getting there, she left.

My plan (&hope) is going to go to the park in the morning with my camera, so that maybe she'll also get the whole "He's into what I'm into" vibe thing going on..and maybe that could help in us talking, and me keeping her attention. The damper of this situation being I've never seen her there before, and she didn't stick around too long..that could mean it didnt interest her enough to visit again.

I'm just curious of how any of you would go about it?

Ask if you can photograph her. Even if she is interested she may be shy so don't rely on her to start the conversation.

^Be smooth about it, too, but not sharklike. You might consider taking an alternate approach, as opposed to the "can I take your picture?" thing..Not that that's bad advice; just that, if it's your first impression, she'll likely be somewhat guarded and suspicious of your motives; IE, whack porn or art gallery. I only say this because I guarantee you that if I walked up to a woman and wanted to take her picture, I'd likely get shot. Heheh.

^lol. didn't think to put that part in. i just assume cos i'm fairly short and unobtrusive. actually, i shaved my head for a cancer charity a fortnight ago so now i look like a skinhead, but before that i looked friendly.

Cool. I'm pretty tall, fucking sullen and yet creepy (in the bad way)-looking, stubbly, and not to mention, I have long hair down to about the middle of my back. I'm one of the few with a face that could make even a mother scream.

Well, I might do that..I come off as a pretty friendly guy when I need to. I need help with what to say though? She'll probably ask why I want to take her picture, what do I say? Being me..I'd probably come off with something like "uh..you uhm..I saw you were interested in what they were doing..and sketching it down..I'm doing the same thing" or "you caught my eye, the way you were observing everyone..it's a hobby of mine aswell". I'm bound to get shot down at this rate, so help a guy out.

If she asks why, say she is amazingly beautiful and would automatically bring life to your photos... Just say something sweet that she cannont take badly... Use your imagination.

I think a good one would be something like:

I am working on a project called Divinity... and what better to represent it than an angel like you?

No, nononononono, no "uhm, uhh, hmm"-ing. Be smooooooooooth. Smooth! Not preppy; just relaxed, and fluid. No need for sterile, impeccable syntax, just a little fluidity and minimal "hmm/uhm"-ing, until you have her in the sack.

It's real earily when you see her right, not many people around, rape the bitch, and steal her pictures, they might be worth something.
