Default Friends like each other

Well basically, two of my best friends have started to fancy each other recently. So I'm sure you're all asking what the problem is. Well, the girl involved is quite promiscuous and has a history of basically cheating on every one she is invloved with-which the boy invloved knows.

That said, she swears that she changed her mind recentlyu and that she isn't like that any more, but I'm not sure how trusworthy that is. Also, there's obviously the issue of two of my best friends going out and then falling-out and putting me in an uncomfortable position.

So yeah, any advice? Do I believe her or just advise him against it?

Thats actually not really a problem. What really sucks is when you like one of your friends and so you tell her how you feel and she says she doesn't feel the same way about you and then you stop being friends.

Anyways, I think they should give it a shot.

Fortunately, you neither have to believe her, nor advise him against it. Minding one's own business is far less stressful.

Yes, it's possible that a falling-out may cause strife. Whether or not you choose to participate in it is up to you. When Miss A starts talking crap about Mr. B, just tell her you're not involved. If Mr. B starts talking crap about Ms. A, say the same thing, and add that he knew what he was getting into.

But refrain from putting the cart before the horse; you may never be in such a position.

Of course it puts you in an uncomfortable situation. But, if you stop their possible hook up, they will think you're a shady guy, and then they may put you in an even worse situation.

Both parties know the possible problems, so you should just stay out. Don't EVER comment on the relationship. You dont need to be involved. It's damned hard to stay neutral, but its worth the work.
