relationships
My boyfriend and I have been spending too much time together. I also think that he expects me to be around all day by the phone, or doing nothing.
This weekend I told him that I want to have a weekend to myself. Then he rings me to say that all this stuff was ready for dinner. Then he eventually noted that some meat had only been defrosted. I think he was trying to pull the guilt trip on me, he sounded real sad and claimed he missed me. Jeez, I see him everyday, and he had a chance to see me on Thursday, but decided to play computers with his friends.
I understand that if boys aren't into cars and friends, they are into computers and friends. Usually these laws are stronger than that of physics!! I'm sure many girls here would agree. I don't care of he spends time with his mates, provided I can spend time with mine, and do things on my own. I've gotta study for my license, and haven't been able to do that because he keeps coming over or calling.
At the moment I think he's being a little bit of a prick, but I don't care, I love this guy and would forgive him. But I am only human and can only handle so much.
What do I do?
My game plan was to ring him tonight and try to discuss this issue with him. But I think he may crack the shits. I don't know if I should see him tomorrow, which I really considered that I didn't want to do, because I need to stay true to my word. I'm not gonna be one of them girls that get pushed around, I feel a bit that way already.
????????????????????????????????????????????

Re: relationships
Space, the final frontier.
Stand your ground. Your first mistake was answering the phone. Get voice mail and use it religiously.
Ring him up and tell him of the lovely plans (make some) you have for the two of you on Monday that you're very much looking forward to. Assure him you'll see him then, and hang up.

Re: relationships
If he continues with guilt tripping your ass, end it quick. While this is only one occurance, it sounds like something an individual with PAPD would do. Just watch out for things such as the following: guilt tripping you, lack of guilt, lack of compromise but expects you to compromise. If he does any of those repeatedly, discuss it first in hopes he's just out of it for a few days or something, and if that doesn't help, get out of there before he really fucks your emotions up. He may be a manipulative SoB...and I'm only getting that impression because I can spot my type quite well now that I've become aware of my problems.

... and prepare to be shot dowwnnnnn. You've bred the monster, now you have to take care of it. You don't have any contact with him and he'll assume that you don't like him at all.
