Okay, so here goes. I'm 17 years old and I'm uncircumcised. In 1987, this was a bigger deal than it was today and given the fact that my parents are educated people, I'm sure they all knew the facts involved with uncircumcised children. Anyway, I have never been able to retract my foreskin. I never knew this was an important part of penis function. For whatever reason, my parents never did it when I was a baby and neglected to tell me anything about this. I've never had any trouble masturbating with this condition, but I've never actually had sex, so I don't know if it would affect that at all.

My question to you all is, do I need a circumcision and if so, what are some consequences (good, bad, anything) I can expect? I'm really scared about this and would just like to know the truth.

You're probably better off talking to a doctor about this. But as far as I know there is no such thing as a man who needs to be circumcised. I don't know how much you beat off but when I started my foreskin went further back than I ever thought it could.

But maybe you should see a doctor.
