Okay, I need the help of my friends here at S&A. There's a chance that this might be more appropriate for BLTC, but I don't know those guys. Here's the story:

I'm moving this Saturday. I have these two friends L and J. They've been my good friends all year. But they (and J's boyfriend V who used to be a good friend of mine, but now he and J make out constantly and it's annoying) live like one town over. Which is about half an hour. So basically, I never get to see L and I rarely get to see J.

I also have these other two friends N and D. N is my ex and D is the guy I made my last thread about. D is really hot and I like to kiss him and stuff. N has weed. Good weed.

Yesterday J calls me and says that she, V, and L are coming to my house to see me. So I go out with them. V has to take care of some work business, so he leaves J, L, and me at the pond. We sit around and be merry for awhile. Then N calls. He says they're coming to pick me up. I say I'm at the pond, but I'm not sure if I want to go. He asks if I want to smoke. I say yes, so they come and get me. I ask J and L if they want to come, but they can't leave V and L is getting drug tested. So I leave them both to do to D's house and smoke. And kind of make out. For the rest of the day, L is stuck with J and V making out in front of her. They went back to the place they're from. Basically they came to see me, and I ditched them to go hang out with a cute boy and smoke pot.

Later in the day, N, D, A, and I are all at D's house. A is one of my good friends. He's also friends with V. And he has chronic. We smoke, watch TV, whatever. Then J calls. I tell her to come to D's house. So she and V come to D's house to see me and A. And we all smoke more. Then I start making out with D. Which was kind of okay because V and J were making out. But N and A weren't. I wasn't paying attention to what was going on, but N, A, J, and V all decided to leave and go on a walk or something. I later put it together that they were just trying to get away from D and me. I barely got to spend any time with J.

And now today J will be up here and maybe I can get V to give me a ride to L's house. ...but I've kind of made plans with D. But he's a pothead and I don't know if he'll even remember.

I guess my big question here is, would you forgive me if you were J? What if you were L? How do I fix this? Am I a horrible person?

reminds me of a those horrible school algebra questions like if V=K(V/D)and J+N what is X?

It looks like I'm the only one whos understood it so far and would forgive you easily, but thats just me I tend to not give a shit about little things such as what you have described in your problem maybe J and L are the same way maybe not.

It would all depend on the person some people are really emotional and blow things like this out of porportion and think that you hate them while others just don't care. Only someone who knows them could answer this.

Just sleep with everyone, problem solved.

If you invited them over, then social etiquette calls for you not ditching them. But it seems they invited themselves over, and even though you agreed, I suppose you still have the right to be capricious and follow your whims.

If I were your age, I probably would have done the same thing you did. These days I ignore the phone when I have company, which is rare enough anyways.

I honestly wouldn't worry about it. So much drama. Just sit her down and explain that you weren't trying to ditch her, you just have a thing for this guy... and his magic plant. As far as the one chick who didn't get to make out at all that day... yeah, she might be a little peeved for a while, but she'll get over it, too.

If I were you, I'd buy a sack from your N, or D... or Z, or who the fuck ever, wait until after your girl pees in the cup, and then have a girls' night; no boys allowed. Get toasted, watch a movie, eat a lot of junk food, have a pillow fight, whatever. It's all good.

I'm not one to give advice as social etiquette is not my forte. But I do know that people are a great deal more understanding then you think, and for the most part more people are more likely to put up with injustice then to seek vengenance for it.

It depends how far you're moving. If you're never going to see them again, then yes that makes you a horrible person. But if you're just moving a small distance, then this is one of those things that seems like a big deal at the time but will seem silly and unimportant in retrospect.

Bumping this topic for no good reason. I just haven't been at a computer in awhile (because I moved [yeah, Nina, a long way. Closer to you though]). Anyone who was confused by the names to an extreme degree is a moron. How are letters any different from using actual names? But the reason I did that is because N sometimes reads the message boards here and because I've already revealed my picture, the exact town I live in, and probably my first name here on totse. Only thing left would be to reveal the names of a bunch of people I know.

But back to whatever I was talking about, I saw J a couple times since the incident. She and V were pretty cool, I think. ...but I was high and I'm not even sure how many times I saw them. It was more than once. ...I really don't remember anything at all. I hung out with D more. Or Daniel if I just want to use his name. I decided I like him and his kissing got a lot better in a couple days. He's like the sweetest guy in the whole world. And he said he loves me. In a really dumb kind of way. Of course I don't think he really does and my response to it was something like "okay", but it's still cute of him. What's a bit odd is that he's talking about moving up here to where I just moved to. Not to be with me. He knows other people here. But he said I'm a big reason. He promised that he would see me before Christmas. He's really sweet. But he hasn't emailed me, so I don't know what's going on. Maybe I should call him. A few days ago on the night before we (that's me and my family) left, we had to get rid of a 21 inch computer monitor. So I called N and Daniel. N didn't want it, but Daniel did so he came to get it. He didn't really want it at all, but he came just to see me. Sweet, eh? That's when he said that he hadn't thought about anything but me since we met. Not even spoons or anything, he said (I think he might have been drunk). Then my mom may or may not have caught us making out. We were making out. And she said something. I turned around super fast and said "fuck!". I don't know if she heard that. His music (from his car) was playing pretty loud so my mom had come out to tell him to turn it down. That's all she said. Why the fuck am I telling you all this? I don't know. I'm feeling really girly. I hope he calls/writes me. I would be sad if he didn't.

Sorry I keep bringing this topic up, but I'm only on the computer once a day. N is 19 and Daniel is 18. J and V are both 17. A, if I mentioned him, is 18. They're all employed and happy. So really they're not "a bunch of fucking 14 year old losers" at all.

If you know people who read these (presumably they also know you) wouldn't they easily figure out who you're talking about. So really you're censoring this and excluding everyone but the people you're trying to exclude.

So I just thought I'd say that names are a lot more distinctive than letters, people stopped paying close attention to the distinction of letters after they learned the alphabet. People who don't know you are probably only half paying attention, so wouldn't it be easier for them (and maybe even more effective at disguising your identity) to just make up fake names? You know the situation, it shouldn't be hard for you to keep the names straight. And it certainly wouldn't be hard for us reading your posts, because we'd be unaware of the name changes in the first place.

I also think it's probably not a great idea to insult the people who cared enough about your post to reply at all.
