ok so i was having this conversation with my buddies (we're all in our twenties) the other day and i was wondering what you guys thought about statutory rape.

at what age does it become morally wrong to have sex with a girl?

personally i think if you get her pants off and her pussy has hair then its all good but then again some would call me a rapist. just my opinion, you dont have to like it.

If he/she isn't a teenager it's fucked up, even if they do have pubic hair, it's still not cool. And if there's a 10+ age gap it's screwed up too. Yeah, that sounds about right.

In my opinion a 17 year old girl is ok for any guy under 30. After that he becomes a perv.

Once she's fairly physically developed - i.e. not just hair - and mentally ready. Any girl under 15, with the exception of the odd 14 year old maybe, who reckons they are is lying in my opinion.

And even then, that is only OK if you - the male - hasn't hit 20 yet. Once you're in your 20s you should be looking at above-board pussy only mate, as the age gap gets too dirty paedo'ish.

This is a subject that most people feel compelled to be horrified about. Sex with a minor, especially by adult men (in their 20s or older) is going to be judged as "sick and immoral" by most people. Others will present some complex math formulas about acceptable comparative age ranges.

This is one of the subjects I refuse to pass judgement on because it concerns only another person's choices and the consequences would never apply to me. So I can't give you a simple "number" where age is concerned.

My question for you is: what is appealing about having sex with someone significantly younger than you?

for the record, this was a totally hypothetical conversation. one of those "we got stoned and started talkin about really stupid shit" situations. im not a perv but that was what i said under the cuirrcumstances.

As far as I'm concerned it's a maturity issue and not a definate age thing.I once met a girl who was 13 (I was 18 at the time) who I would have been ok getting in a relationship with. I'm not saying I would have jumped in the sack with her right away, but all good relationships lead down that road. Only time I've ever been attracted to someone that age since I was that young, but she was very mature and intelligent.

For example, you have to be 16 before you're legally allowed to have sex.

It's for that reason I wouldn't touch a girl below 16 years of age.

The age difference becomes wrong only when someone is hurt emotionally as a direct result of the age issues.

That's what I think at least. But it would be pretty hard to translate that into law.

As someone who's dated guys 5 years older than me at 14, I think the big issue is consent. And not just teenage hormone consent, but real consent, given while you're both decked out like Amish people, while sitting in a confessional. Well, maybe not that bad, but you get my drift.

You have to both be ready to deal with the consequences of whatever turns your relationship might take. That age varies from person to person. For some it might be 14, for some it might be 20, but as long as you're keeping it legal and you're both consenting, there's nothing against a relationship of any nature.
