I found an interesting summary of paraphilias which included "frotteurism", a word I've not heard before, though I think I've been on the receiving end of it:

I've been in a number of crowded situations where I find myself thinking "Is he intentionally rubbing up against me? Is he getting off on this? Should I ask for money?" but I dismissed it as my paranoia (or wishful thinking). Apparently though, it does happen.

Anyone else experience this? What's the best way to handle it? Stare him/her down? Scream? Jab an elbow into the groin "accidentally"? Ignore it? It's hard to tell whether they're doing it on purpose, or by necessity of a crowded situation.

One of the reasons I found the definitions of paraphilias interesting is the way some are criminal acts and some aren't, and some may be interpreted either way, depending on how they're indulged. Voyeurism and exhibitionism usually go hand-in-hand in consensual situations. It's not uncommon to hear of people who like it when others watch them engage in sex acts, which means there must be people who enjoy the watching.

Same with sadism, transvestitism, masochism and fetishism. But pedophilia doesn't really have an appropriate legal context in our society (or any that I know of).
