To all the nice helpful folk who are advising him to just "own up" to it, "grow up" and keep the baby, perhaps it's those people who need the reality check.

Feasible, in the sense of money, love and time, the things i mentioned, not the business of telling parents. Obviously, that's such a small thing when the shit hits the fan. We're talking about a human life.

And if it's just NOT feasible, it's also not a failure to say so, and to terminate. The fetus at this point is still just cells multiplying. You can't even pretend that it has a consciousness, because it doesn't even have a brainstem.

To the guy who first posted: i'm sorry, i can't give you any tricks of the trade on home made abortions, and i strongly advise against it. Home made abortions have been carried out since the beginning of time and even to this day (never mind prehistoric times), it STILL carries an extremely high mortality, and we're talking even AFTER the mother has been admitted to intensive care with the world's most expensive antibiotics: it's usually too late (never mind the countless mothers who die 10 min after self injecting salt water or whatever up their vagina due to the usual air embolism).

So if it means enough to you to stop her pregnancy, just go to a state that is acceptible and do it. And support her.

Because of the odd "stomach punching" compulsion, I question the veracity of your claims. Thus I provide this information for the general readership.

1. Get your facts straight. As has been suggested, a pregnancy test is imperative. They're inexpensive. Go to your nearest major supermarket and look for the store brand. There's a good chance some brand will be on sale. Buy the least expensive; they're mostly the same except some are easier to read than others. Buy a brand that includes 2 test kits, and use them both. A late period does not adequately indicate pregnancy.

2. If pregnant, consult your nearest Planned Parenthood for abortion info. While Arizona requires notification of at least one parent, there is such a thing as judicial bypass in all states except Utah. This means that a minor can petition the court and prove that she's mature enough to make the abortion decision on her own. If granted, an abortion can be performed without parental consent or notification. If denied, request assistance from the court clerk in filing paperwork for appeal.

Obviously, time is of the essence, so hop to it. There are no home abortion methods that won't seriously jeopardize the health of the pregnant female.

At 14 it's not unusal for a period to be irregular - ( a little late, a little early ) Go get her a pregnancy test first before you do or say another thing .Chances are you may be freaking out over nothing .

If your girlfriend is pregnant - do NOT attempt to try and induce a miscarriage - this can lead to severe injuries and even death to your girlfriend .....not to mention that you may do serious harm to the fetus ( which if not miscarried is something that you will have to live with ). Also if she did miscarry chances are she would need medical attention straight away .

As has already been advised - go talk to the appropriate support services who can advise you of all your options .

In an abortion, they do not just kill the baby. The baby has to be removed from the womans uterus. If your girlfriend acutally was pregnant, and you killed the baby by poisoning and then beating it, then a dead baby is still in your girlfriends uterus. If a miscarried baby remains in your girlfriend's uterus, it will lead to MAJOR long term problems if not attended to. She could have internal bleeding, she could end up sterile, needing a hysterectomy, or dying.

If you actually did what you said you did, I would suggest you go to a hospital and you will have to tell the truth. Your girlfriend is in a dangerous situation.

If you dont go to the hospital, at least tell your girlfriend to watch for spotting. If over the next couple days, if she is bleeding, it probably means that you did in fact carry out a home made abortion, and it is absolutely imperative that she goes to the hospital.
