This probably sounds really stupid, but just bear with me.

Alright, I am 16 and this girl is 14. I dont really like her but she asked me out and I said yes not wanting to hurt her feelings. She also asks me if I like her and I said yes not wanting to hurt her feelings. I really dont like her though, and she is wanting to kiss and I dont want to.

Basically, I hate all that crap with middle schoolers and young highschoolers dating because its cool. I dont want to kiss anyone who I dont like, and I also feel I am not ready. I dont want to be a part of this school girl crush thing.

I dont want to "go out" with her but I dont want to hurt her feelings. I really hate this bullshit and I dont know what to do. Please help me.

1 word. Avoid-dance. Just dance around the relationship. Say your busy and you can't see her. Tell her you're with your friends and shit. That you'll be having more fun doing nothing.

Just break up with her she's 14 she'll be after the next cute guy she see's and won't even think of you.

But the longer you wait the harder it will be on her and you so just get it done and over with.

Ya, thats what I've been doing on the phone because she is so sheltered its boring. What she does for fun is play truth or dare or MASH. It really sucks. Thanks for the advice, sounds like a good idea. Hopefully she will get bored of me and find someone else.

Be a man and tell her the truth. Eventually, you'll hurt her feelings anyways, and humiliate her on top of it.

So just tell her something like "I really don't know what I was thinking. I don't feel this situation is right for me, and I made a mistake. I'm sorry, but I can't go out with you." Even a note or email would be better than leading her on.

Since your motivation was to "not hurt her feelings" in the first place, you can't be all bad.

i agree normal people will just move on and forget a non mutual attraction but if you lead her on shell remember it much longer. its like she got the mutual lovecarpet firmly underfoot and you yank that shit out and she goes head over heals. dont give what you cant keep up.
