Your foreskin isn't just cut, it's completely removed.

It's mostly just a religious and cultural tradition.

If you REALLY want a reason, recent studies have shown that uncircumcised men are far more susceptible to acquiring HIV.

I've been circumsized, I was 4 weeks premature and apparently my foreskin was a little fucked up. I hear it makes your penis look smaller when it's flaccid (probably true), but doesn't affect it's erect length (also probably true), and it makes you last longer (from masturbating I'd have to say this was probably true). Only real downside I can think of is that it looks wierd. I've never needed lube.

Circumcision: it's cleaner, reduces the risk of penile carcinoma (but probably just because it's cleaner) and looks good.

But the trend nowadays is to go au naturel and leave the foreskin there.

Some people don't have a choice and have to be circumcised, even up to their 40's or later because of inflammation of the foreskin (chronic balanitis). If the foreskin is extremely tender and can't be retracted, then you could be "heading" that way.

A circumcision must be done at that point to prevent everything from getting permanently stuck where it is. But good hygeine should prevent these problems.

The solution to the pain thing is not circumcision, but stretching. I didn't get mine stretched all the way till I was about 12.

I was circumcised when I was a baby and hell, I'm glad I was. Notice any hetero porn you see from Penthouse or Hustler never involves uncircumcised men. It does look better.

nope. feels quite nice to me.

I'm uncircumcised and happy about it. There are some pluses and minuses to it though.

The negatives:

1. Some people think it's weird. From what ive experienced girls dont generaly care.

2. Infection, etc.. Is posible with improper hygene.

3. Cancer of the penis (forgot its medical name) i think occurs exclusively in uncircumcised men, but it is very rare as far as I know (prolly has to do with poor hygene, not sure)

I do not know how std's could affect you if you are uncircumcised more then if you are circumcised. I have not seen any links about this.

Positive stuff:

1. It is more sensative because it is protected. Meaning an uncircumcised guy feels more from sex/masturbation. An circumcised penis rubs against cloths and such desensetizing it.

2. It is natural.

3. If you have been circumcised, you were mutalated. Some doctor with scissors cut the skin off your dick, does this seem fucking normal to you?

I'm glad that I'm whole and complete, i have nothing against circumcised guys, but I think its bull shit that parents get to choose, but what are you going to do, babies cant make their own choices and are forced to live with their parents mistakes.

Weird, WTF r u talking about, 90% of us males are circumsized!

An uncircumsised penis (if washed regularly) is just the same as having it circumscised, if not even more. The foreskin is there to protect the glans. Circumscision is just religious bullshit in my opinion.

I did a little research and it appears about 20-30 percent of newborn males are circumcised in Australia and England compared to about 80-90% in America.

I like my cock just as it is, and the extra effort to roll back my foreskin in the shower wouldn't be justification to cut the skin off surgically.
