The topic says it. At my youth group, there's this girl I really like. I think she likes me also, i mean she's always looking at me, and she's nicer to me than anyone else. She's the kind of person that most people would think is not that attractive, but to me, she's the most beautiful person in the world. She's very nice as well. The problem is, She's one year older than me, and she found that out today. I was thinking of asking her out soon, but since she found out my age, i'm not sure if she would say yes. However if loving her means accepting her decision to not go out with me, and to let her go, I will. How can I ask her out if she's older than me, and what can i do to make her forget about the age difference. Thanks alot for help.

Just be yourself, if she does like you, then the age difference shouldn't be a factor. 1 year isn't that much, you know? Just act naturally and talk to her as you would anyone you like. Unless she's really strict on age and unwilling to compromise, then it won't matter. Good luck

Age really shouldn't matter. In your case, I know a girl that has dated people way younger then just a year behind her. She was senior (18 years old) and dated a freshman, and THEN an eighth grader. so i think your ok Just take a stab at it and see if shes interested. If shes not, then move on.

Anyway, i agree, be yourself, and just do it man, youll just regret it for a long long time if you dont (trust me, im the expert at this part), and if she does say no, or just sees you as a friend, and is generally just really nice to you and u end up telling her and she says nothing back, then dont worry about it, itll hurt for a whle but youll get over.
