There are 2 main types of testicular cancer:

if you are around 40-50 years: painless firm enlargement of one testicle.

if you are 40 and younger (especially around 25-30), there may not be any enlargement at all, may be a small fluid collection (hydrocoele- "HYDRO-SEEL") and usually by the time anyone begins to suspect anything, there is spread to the lungs (coughing up blood, weight loss).

Here's what you need to know: testicular cancer is RARE. Hydrocoeles (benign collections of fluid in the scrotum) are EXTREMELY common, usually have nothing to do with cancer, and in most cases, they are easily operated on if one so wishes and they go away forever.

If you do have a hydrocoele, and you or your doctor is suspicious of it, you can get an ultrasound of the scrotum which will usually show an underlying cancer if there actually is one, or they can take a sample of the fluid with a needle for testing for malignant cells.

And apart from hydrocoeles, there can also be a hernia causing enlargement of one side of the scrotum. So in most cases, it's all pretty benign and common stuff.

My dad had a malignant cyst on one of his nuts, they found during a vasectomy, and just took it out right there on the spot.

Usually a vasectomy is a quick surgery, but it took him 2 weeks to be able to walk right. I check my nuts everyday. Fuck a bunch of testicular cancer. I am only 21, but since it is in my family, I am extra careful.

Talk to the men in your family Toko, see if it is something you should worry about.

I thought I had it before. Then I got a physical told the doc about it. He checked it for bumps and shit and said it was nothing. Not worried now, he said the way it feels that it's probably a sterile testical. Now I have 1 that workds, and I have to protect that one with my life. For it is my life.

Testicular cancer can be found by checking your balls for small lumps. Testicular cancer is most prominent between the ages of 15 and 30 and as the older you get the chance of having it decreases. As you get older though, prostate cancer risks increase. When your in your mid 40's, you will go to your doctor and get your digital rectal exam. Yes, i said digital rectal examn. Im SOOOO looking forward to that.

Both types of cancers are curable as long as you do something about it... so dont be stupid and do nothing if you have it... not that i care about you or your balls.

Provided you don't work in a leather tannery, your chances of contracting the disease are reassuringly slim.

LOL just trying to imagine what an *RK* would constitute. As for randiness, seeing half naked old men all day certainly takes some of the va va voom away...

I had a scare a few years ago that I had testicular cancer. I was only like 12-13 and I thought I was going to die. This was fucking nasty as well, it was like not just one lump it was like a mass of lumpy stuff.

I ignored it and kept it to myself for a few years and eventually calapsed in a heap of tears to my mum and she made me a docs appointment.

After the rather traumatic experience of actually going to see the doctor and telling him about it he had a gander and came to the conclusion that the tube that connects my bollock to the rest of me was quite elongated and all curled up to make a lumpy mass.

Basically what i'm getting at is just go and see the doctor about it, if you don't you'll just have nagging doubts about it and you'll get more and more worked up till you explode (like I did).

Jus go see the damn doctor!
