As some of u might remember i just got a new girlfriend. And i cant say were doing too good. She is kinda freaking me out in more then one way. And im not to sure im in love with her either. But last night totally fucked me up.

She was at her house (far from where i live) and says that she has taken lots of pills. And then i say like: WTF! why did you do that for? Are you alright? Can u puke them up? Do you want me to call for help?

But then she says that she doesnt care about anything at all... and that she had another pack of painkillers. I said: throw them away! Dont take them please... if not for yourself do it for me! But then she hangs up and sends me a text message that she has taken them all (on top of all the others she had taken).

I was sure that she had taken an overdose ,but then again when she answered the phone she sounded ok. I talked with her for a long time and told her repeatedly to stop doing this crazy shit. But she just kept on doing it.

I talked with her and somehow she got home. And there i talked with her and she hadnt taken anymore pills because she couldnt find any. I think the only reason she isnt in the hospital is because they only had weak painkillers (like for headaches(sp) and etc)

She said that she had been arguing with her stepdad(sp)! But what scared me was that she wouldnt stop and that i hadnt seen this thing comming at all. She has tried to kill her self before. And people say that she does it for attention! And thats what i felt like she was doing. Like she was kinda making a bigger deal out of it then it really was.

But the worst thing was that i didnt know what path too take. I could have gotten angry and told her to stop doing that or i could try to be nice to her and to ask her please stop doing that! But the thing is that i do not doubt that fact that if i had gotten angry she would have hurt her self to make me feel bad about it.

I was kinda thinking of dumping her but i dont know if i can now. I think she would do something stupid like this if i did. So im stuck with her.

Anybody with tips on what to do? Im really struggeling here. Sorry for the long post.

i think the reason she's not in the hospitol from the pills is because she didn't take any.

first off even 'weak' headache pills can kill. especially paracetamol based ones (tylenol i think in the Us). also aspirin or ibuprofen tabs can kill or at least make you wish you were dead.

second she needs help.

Most likely she did take some of them but i dont think all of them. I will just have to talk to her. How can i break up with her when she is like this ? oh man love isnt supposed to be like this



Edit: i dont want to be the one to help her. I dont want to be mean or anyhing but i dont think im the one to do it. And i dont want to do it because i dont love her (she is not the person i thought she was). But im not gonna leave her if cant. I dont want to hurt her anymore then she already is.

You may care about her, but you can't help her.She needs professional help.Tell her parents and let them deal with it.I am talking from experience here. A few weeks ago, one of my son's freinds called him and said she'd taken a bunch of pain pills,too. He didn't believe her and just thought she was doing it for attention.He told me about it and asked what he should do.I told him to tell her parents, but he didn't want to get her in trouble, so he didn't.Shortly after that,another one of her friends called asking me what to do about Sara taking all those pills and I convinced her to tell the parents.Luckily she did,because by the time her parents found her she was unconcious.Sara almost died because her friends didn't have the balls to tell her parents. As it was, she spent 2 days in the hospital before she went to a psychiatric hospital for a week.Even if your g/f is faking an OD, she's got serious problems and needs some help.Tell her parents!!! Then go find yourself a nice girl who has some self-esteem.

The thing is that she did this because of her parents she said. She really likes her mom but the stepdad is throwing himself between them. She wants her mom to leave him but i dont think thats near happening

So i really dont know what to do... I would like to call her mom but then again if she got to know that i did that she would be upset i think. Ill tell her that ill call her mom if she does anything stupid like that again. But i dont like this shit at all. She has scars all over her arms from cutting her self earlier. I think she has tried to hang her self earlier. But she always gets saved.

I dont want to save her every weekend! i cant take this shit.

Im going to talk with her when she gets back.
