I have what looks like the scar from a stitched-up cut on the underside of my penis. It runs from bottom to top on the underside. It is a thin line with rows of dots on either side; looks exactly like where my dog got stitched up after getting spayed. I've had it all my life, and as far as I know, have had no problems with my penis. It's odd; my penis works normally and is uncircumsised. Both balls still there; didn't have an undescended one.

Anybody know what this could be? I'm pretty curious. I'm straight, if that helps. (No weird sex-change-at-birth thing)

Is it possible that you had surgery on your pecker when you were born and no one bothered to tell you?

Other than that, I really have no idea what it could be. Sorry.

Yeah, I got that too, so I doubt it's some kind of radical penile surgery

For me (uncircumcised), the 'line' goes all the way up to my urethra and the foreskin is drawn up that line near the head. Looks like a way for uncircumcised people to be able to draw their foreskin back.

I found out what it is. It's actually the beginnings of a vagina. It's perfectly normal. And no, it won't develop.

I hope to god you didn't get your dog spayed if it had a penis. If so, sue that vet man.

Wow...after so many years wondering what the hell that was, now I know.

I'm circumcised, and it's pretty noticible. It's a bit crooked too, it goes from the leftish edge at the base, up to the center right before the head. My life just made sense all of a sudden.

I have one.. but I was told by my doctor when i was 6 that when i was born they didnt know so they made me a boy. I have the exact same thing.

its the line that connects the 2 labia to form a penis. when in the womb all fetuses are female until the Y chromosome acts and causes gender differences.
