just another question
this is probably just another stupid question to some people but i have been wondering why do so many people... call other people who have had sex at a young age...... 13 - 14 etc...... a skank or a slut or similar...
oh and sorry for no question marks ... my keyboard is stuffed at the moment...

Re: just another question
It's how often they get laid that makes them a slut, how they dress how the act etc.
not age.

Re: just another question
I have found that girls who lost their virginity at an early age normally felt mature and better than those who hadn't lost their virginity.
With that in mind, they usually acted as if they were better and felt they had to do it again so they could brag about it...And in order to do it again they had to flaunt it a bit...Thus being labeled a slut, whore, slag, whatever other degrading adjectives you can think of.
Although there are girls who lost it early and were happy or regretted it.
These type of girls normally don't want to do it again until they feel ready to.
The happy ones are happy with doing it once and knowing what to expect next time...And the ones who regretted it...Well that's pretty self explanatory.
I guess what it all boils down to is peer pressure.
But you see what I meant...I hope.

Re: just another question
]^^^ They pretty much covered it. The ones that do it excessively and feel they have to brag about it are only making themselves known to be that way. It's their own fault if people call them that because their the ones that want to be known for that, also the same for the guys. They put that label on themselves. Also the fact that since in highschool (and middle school since you brought the age in to the topic) usually (emphasis on usually) don't have long term relationships and people play the dating game, its really weird to hear peoples tales about having sex with their "boyfriend/girlfriend" after a couple days to a week. The people calling them "whores" probably define sex as something special and not just another thing to do. Sure it feels great, but it will feel even better if you wait and do it with someone you TRUELY love. If you're doing it and are happy then thats great, the whole world doesn't have to known about it. End of story.

Re: just another question
It's basic textbook psychology. People with emotional problems such as insecurity and lack of self-esteem need to invalidate others for any reason they can find. Name-calling is the easiest way, and targeting one's sexuality has been a popular one since the dark ages.
Anyone who calls anyone else a "slut" isn't really making any kind of valid point. It's just words.
