What time periods, during the menstrual cycle/period are the most dangerous as far as having a baby is concerned? Reason I ask, is I just had sex and the condom broke while inside her. She had her period last week. So yeah, should I be worried?

You should be okay if she had her period last week, but still, if its not too late, do what the others are suggesting: the morning after pill.

The BEST time is during or right after her period (her uterine lining is shed, and no ovum is expected for 2 weeks). The WORST time is 15 days after her period (when she ovulates), leading up to her period. This is sex ed stuff.

The WORST time is also in a bank lineup, at the marriage altar with her parents and the priest watching, when she's in labour and after she dies.

I'd say you haven't got much to worry about though, I can't remember the stats but the odds are on your side for her not getting pregnant. I still agree with the morning after pill though.

To clarify some possible misinformation presented above, emergency contraception may be effective up to 120 hours after unprotected intercourse. Of course, the sooner the better; the longer one waits, the higher the chances that conception will occur. EC prevents conception; it is ineffective once conception has occurred.

so does anyone know if the morning after pill is avaliable in cali? i'd love to get a pack, but i recently remember the state legislature getting into a big debate about it and I don't remember the outcome. I'll check the drugstore tomorrow regardless.
