this is on behalf of my father

so he checks out sites like that.. the dating service/personal things, but he never seems to get anywhere.

he is not 1337 @ teh computer at all (if ads pop up he asks me if we need it.. and especially the ones disguised as computer errors), so anything he does on the computer takes him a while, and it just seems like he is wasting a bunch of time with all the shitty websites after your money only.

so does anyone have any experience with good free ones? or know of any that you have to pay for but that are really good and worth it?

like eharmony.com? i know you have to pay, but i saw a comercial for it and it seemed like it might be worth it.

so mostly just looking for people with experience with one

What do you mean by get anywhere? As in... doesn't get to talk to anyone? Doesn't actually recieve or be a member of the dating service? I think you need to give your dad some tips on how to use the computer properly, and what and how pop-ups can damage your computer without you noticing.

chatrooms are great, especially the AIM ones, you meet many different kinds of people, especially the ones that tell me that if i click that link i'll have access to their webcams or their websites,

but anyway, yeah they're great, i met my Wife there, and that was after we were married!
