This shit fucking sucks. How long will it take for it to go away? I can't sing now and I finally get everyone I need in the band and we're supposed to practice on wednseday.

I had it, I had it BAD. I was dry-heaving, and my whole throat was white. It sucked balls for like three weeks. Blah, how'd you get it? Kissing dirty girls?

I had it last year. It really fucked me up, I was off school for nearly a term.

The recovery time varies for everyone but you still feel "down" afterwards, or at least I did. What I mean by that is, whilst all the other symptoms have gone away you still feel tired, everything seems harder, I had trouble even staying awake during school hours. However, chances are you'll probably make a full recovery in a few weeks.

If your throat gets really sore, I found the best thing to do was gargle some aspro clear or something similar in your mouth.

Almost everyone has it -- most people get it when they're very young. Has nothing to do with being "dirty."

But the irony is that he did get it kissing dirty girls.

The doctors thought I had that 3 weeks ago. Had a horrible sore throat, with white spots, so I went to the doc. He said I either had mono or strep throat, got the insta-test for both there and had neither. Then he said it might be too early to tell for mono, so he had me get a blood test the next day. Thank god, I had neither, and got better, but then 2 days after I got better I got a damn sinus infection...

HAHAHA sinus infection, those things suck. Makes me feel a little better.
