I have a close friend and his birthday is Monday. I made him something, like an art thing, but it's small. I am making him a card too. I need something else to go with it though. He is into music, metal and stuff like that, such as Atreyu, In Flames, and many more. He's easy to get along with, you can't get easily embarrassed around him. I just need something good to give a guy for his birthday. Please help me with suggestions.

Just don't get him anything. I don't get anyone anything and it always works out fine for me. If you exclude everyone, no one feels left out. It seems to me that chicks are very nigardly when it comes to buying gifts for other people. They always make some shit themselves and say that a homemade gift is better than any "store bough piece of shit", but I think that they are just cheap little bastards.

Loosen that fist that you have around your money and go shopping for him. Buying him something doesn't necessarily mean that you didn't put any effort or thought into it. It means that you went out and spent time and money trying to find him the right gift.
