Mainly for the blokes, but chicks too i suppose.

So is it just me, or does everyone else do this, when im going out with a girl my frame of mind completely changes, and i start being really nice to everyone, i keep myself and my house alot cleaner, i go out and do things i normally wouldent just to tell her about it, like i hate bowling but if the girl asks me to go with her i will go no questions asked.

Then when we break up i turn back to the normal me and my house gets a little dirty, i care less about how i look, i stop going to all these different places etc.

So does anyone else notice themselvs change like that, between being single and in a relashionship? What do you start doing different?

I do nothing different; I just continue to be myself. I only will compromise and change aspects of myself even a little if I really love a woman. It's compromising too much that caused a lot of problems with the ex I so often mention. I realized I was becoming her doormat, not her lover or her friend. So fuck that shit.

I think that the reason i change is because girls i go out with are usally good looking,snobby girls, who im very attracted to, but then we have little in common, so i change to be more like them, and then not long after we brake up.

yeah im like that too, im a total scrub, im like like a homeless person with more than one (4 or 5...) set of clothes and a place to sleep. if you saw me youd think i was homeless. anywoo, yeah when i have a girl who cares about me i tend to become more social acceptable, i shave, i dress in one of the better 25 combonations of shirts and pants i have, which all look the same so its all in my head, but the intent is there, i keep my living areas cleaner etc etc.

yeah im exactly like that.

The only thing I change is I try to keep the house cleaner.Oh and I try to control my temper more.I dont really like it when the girl Im seeing sees me get pissed as I usually do.

I change nothing. I never have, and i never will. No female is worth changing for. If they dont love and respect me for who I am, then they are just going to lose their chance with me.
