I was watching ATHF last night at around 12 or so (don't ask me why, but I find that show hilarious) and my cell rings. I look over and checked the number, and if I don't recognize it, I won't answer. So, I don't recognize it, so, I don't answer. I get a voice message and I call to check it, and it turns out it's this chick i dated about 2 years ago. We didn't work out because of distance issues (I live in the southern part of Florida, her in the northern), but I've always wondered about her. So, she leaves me this really cute message, and tells me to call her back anytime, so I go outside, light up a cig and call her back.

We BSed for about an hour, all the while entertaining ideas of either one of us coming up (or down) to see the other, hey, she started it. And she said she might be heading down in a couple weeks by herself just to get a little vacation going, and I told her to look me up and she said definatly.

I told her that works because my boss has a house in the Florida Keys with a converted room downstairs with a big screen, PS2, bathroom, fridge and a bed, and I'm told I could use it anytime I want, and I kinda left it at that, I didn't push the issue of me staying there as well, but she asked if I would be there too, and I told her yeah, if she wanted me to. Afterwards she told me she has her own place now and I can come up anytime I want and I'm more than welcomed at her place.

So as it sits, I have a bud in Orlando that wants me to stop by, and I figured, fuck it, ROAD TRIP! I've always wanted to head back up to north Florida anways, I LOVE Daytona Beach, but now I have an excuse.

She was a cutie back when I knew her, and now she's almost 19 and I can only imagine. I guess there's no point to this other than this. The weird part about all of this is that I've long forgotten her phone number, and all this time (I asked her) she still had my number in her phone and could never work up the nerve to call. WTF, 2 years? That's a long time to keep somebody's number in your phone that you don't talk to.

I've kinda noticed (even though it really doesn't apply to this situation, maybe in a broader sense) that when you leave chicks alone, that's when they want you back around. That's not important, I'm just really excited, heh. Go me!

If I can get some pictures of her again (I lost all the old ones) I'll post, she really is a cutie!

Seriously, good luck. And yes, as a girl I can tell you that sometimes the less you talk to us the more we want you. Especially if we haven't seen you for awhile. We start wondering how your doing, then we remember all the good times. Then you start to doubt the reasons it didn't work. Like maybe that wasn't a good enough reason.

I wish my car went 110! I have a 2.slow jetta so 100 is about max, even though the gage goes to 160. I think I'm going to Myrtle Beach in about 2 months so I'll be trying to break records too That drive is so boring. From PA to SC is a loooong way! Hopefully, I'll be moving there by end of summer. I want to get away from the shit hole town I live in now!
