Beauty
Beauty in my opinion is fake, I am sure that as far as human natures concerened we find people that are physically fit most attractive. But does doing our hair really make a difference, I believe not. For instance look at how girls have their hair now, now look at the 80's... See the difference? We think that the 80's was a complete mess and that they had horrible style, but back then that was what was considered beautiful. So why the sudden change, did humans evolve all of a sudden in terms of how to do their hair, how to dress, ect.? Or do corporations decide that for us, there are multiple different trends now punk, goth, prep. Hot Topic is just as bad as Abercrombie, they both make a profit by exploiting what they think people should think is cool, and what is rebelious. It's disgusting that clothing lines along with the media (Television, Magazines, Ect.) decide whats beautiful and whats not. Who decided butterflies where pretty and that spiders where scary? It's all what the corporations decided to make us believe to make a profit, nothing else.

Re: Beauty
The idea of beauty and its evolution with different cultures existed long before there were any corporations. Just because the standards are subjective, that does not mean it is not real. I have more theories on this, but I think they would be wasted in this forum.

Oh yeah, Abercrombie & Fitch is sooo rebellious .
You are a fool to think that beauty can only found in a person's looks.

Re: Beauty
A nice modern hair-style sends the message out that the person takes care of themselves and isn't ignorant of the 'trends' around. And yes, the change of fashion is like a mini-evolution as far as people's mindsets are concerned.

Re: Beauty
"Boo hoo, look at me Mr Paranoia, big money corporations are telling me what beauty is! I must rebel and present an awesomely new and unique opinion to enlighten the insolent retards on the internet!"
Seriously, who gives a fuck? If 'big corporations' were manipulating me to find a particular type of girl attractive (why anyway?), who really cares? Just makes me feel better when I finally fuck that type of girl, if 'big corporations' are deciding what I consider beautiful or not.
I mean seriously, how are you going to present some mind-blowing stance against this notion of them deciding for you what is physically beautiful and what isn't, fuck some down syndrome girl? Please...
