Im just so happy! Just got together with this girl i have liked for a long time. And its almost summerholiday. Life is good.

That's how he feels now, and he deserves to be able to share the feeling with us without fear of immature or jealous reprisal. I mean, listen to him..it'd be downright fucking cruel to take that feeling from him. Seriously.

Just be happy for him - I am, and you doubtless know how love has treated me, lately. Love is something that's always nice to share in, even if it's in an indirect manner such as this. Besides, if you can be empathetic towards others and you can learn to be even only a little altruistic, it'll show - and for all you know, it'll attract the attention of a nice member of the opposite sex, who will melt because you're a sensitive and selfless person, not an envious and bitter one.

Yes, sometimes things really do work out like that. It's unrealistic to expect such a good ending to all situations, but trust me, it does happen.

Anyway. Congratulations to you, man; hope you guys never lose the passion. And she's very pretty, by the way - make sure you show her off plenty (and respect her while doing it, but I'm sure you knew that one).

The one thing im a bit worried about is how a friend of ours is gonna react(sp?) when he gets to know. He has had a crush on her for a long time... made her dinner and things but she wasnt interested. Hope he doesnt get mad. But thats his problem

And i dont worry about people like pea there... I posted a picture of my girlfriend on totse. If i couldnt take a little BS i wouldnt have done it. I was actually amazed that he was the only one with a comment like that. You guys arent so bad after all! And again and again THANKS!!!



And one more thing: anyone got a tip on what i should do with her stepdad(sp?). Hes an asshole. He keeps denying her things and saying its because shes not his real daughter! THat makes me so mad... Could he even sink any lower then that? I really wish that i could just meet this guy and put him against a wall and tell him that if he said anything like that again i would hunt him down.

Be more sensitive than that, man...

Having been in the same position he is, I can tell you that he's going to be very shocked, hurt, angry and jealous. It'll likely consume him for days, depending on how much he likes her, maybe weeks, maybe months. This is going to take a huge emotional toll on him; sure, it's "his problem", but if you're really that amoral and have so little compassion for someone, you might need to step back and reevaluate yourself, and ask yourself if you can live with causing another person a very deep pain just to satisfy yourself. Whatever conclusion you come to is your own, but just remember that karma is real, man..

As for your friend, teenage feeling are usually pretty shallow, so if you get him hooked on another chick he probably won't be "greiving" over his loss for long.

I don't think you should be sensitive to the other fella... unless she used, abused, and lead him on, then she's just a heartless bitch. You can be the judge.

I dunno, I had an experience with a guy who thought it was my fault that he was torturing himself over me. Did I ask him to obsess? Did I ask him to be even a little interested? No, I made it pretty clear that he was a bud, no more. How the hell he blamed me, or the guy I actually was interested in, for his self-inflicted pain.... I'll just never understand. He had issues.

The point is, loving someone does not require them to love you in return... they have no responsibility when it comes to how you feel. You're on your own, and you have to deal.

He likes her, she doesn't like him... yeah that's too bad for him but it isn't her fault and it shouldn't effect her life in any way. His feelings = his problem. You got the girl, he'll have to get over it, that's the way life works.

What Miss S above says may be true, but diplomacy is always a good idea. If it ever becomes an issue with your friend, be considerate of his feelings. However, don't let him drive a wedge between you & her(unless you want him to). Blah, blah, blah....

There is no problem between this guy and me. I saw him today and we talked. Nothing had changed it seemed. I wasnt about to make a big deal out of it anyways. I havent even said a word about it to him myself. I kinda meant what i said earlier like: If he tried to break the two of us up then to hell with him, but if not he's still my/our friend.
