I have liked this girl for a while and she knows this but she says she needs time to think about stuff so I gave her time and didn't push any pressure. My birthday is coming up and i asked her if I could take her out and she said let me think about it my birthday is May 19th so I really want to take her out. Is there any way to convince her so say Yes so I can show her I am a nice guy to date and be with.

Try not to come off too desperate. And try not to act too interested either. Other than that just hope for the best.

just what everyone else said, don't sound too despret, and maybe get her a flower or something. make sure that you also know this girl, and what she's like so you guys will be able to carry on a convo. there's nothing more irritating then finding out you have nothing in common with the other person
