I understand that there is this thing called Toxic Shock Syndrome that some women exerience from the use of tampons. what the hell is it and how can it have anything at all to do with tampons? I understand this sort of thing pretty easily, but I just cant figure this one out. all I can really get out of it is that the body is freaking out from a foreign object in the body, but if that were the case then diaphragms (sp?) and, well, a guy could cause the same sort of effect, which I have never heard of. what is this TSS?
