Is it bad to go through guys quickly in high school? I mean my boyfriend broke up with me last wednesday and I am starting to have feelings for a guy who just happens to one of my ex's best friends... I think that he likes me too because we made out and we were all over each other at a party on Saturday... so am I just trying to find the right guy or would this be considered slutty?

No, I think its normal to look for someone else after your boyfriend dumped you. I mean, "Hormones are raging". But, are you sure you are not subconsiously trying to get back at your ex for dumping you.

If you have feelings for him, the go for it. That's killing two birds with one stone. You get a new boyfriend, whom you like, and you are probably making your ex jelous for going out with his friend.

Unfortunately due to the nature of high school, you've probably been branded a slut years ago. Just do what's best for you and ignore everyone else.

You're in a different cycle than 20 yr olds, 30 yr olds, etc... in high school the life expectancy of a relationship can be as short as a week or less. Nothing strange or unusual in that.

As for being slutty, fuck what people (society) says or expects. Girls are sluts and guys are cool (that get around). I think you should ignore what's expected of you and do what is 'right' for you.

Personally, I have the same regard for either gender in that respect. If it's just bed-hopping for the sake of fucking, if that's your thing go for it, but getting into a relationship and exploring it is more fulfilling when possible.

You'll find as you get older that the intimate part of a relationship is more satisfying than the instant gratification of sex. Hard to believe I'm sure now but as you mature you'll bend more towards being with the same person for better reasons.

In HS sexual experimentation is probably more important than finding love so don't feel bad about fucking around.. just be smart and safe about it, lots of funky shit you can get nowadays that you really don't want to keep.

You guys are awesome!! I love you! Lol... I was drunk! But... that doesn't change the feelings I have for Brandon. My first intentions were to get back at Ben so I was going to be all over his friend David (from a couple of posts ago I talked about Ben thinking I was going to cheat on him with David) because I knew it would piss him off but Brandon was standing there and I was like "Hey Buddy" man he is so hot.. He was being really sweet to me and he was holding me and then we finally made out right before he had to leave and I went to see him at work on sunday cuz I lost my purse and he found it for me.. I didn't talk to him today at school because he had to leave at lunch to go to court (speeding ticket) But I was talking to my friend Wes and I was yelling "I made out with Brandon" and I turned around and he was standing there smiling! It was so funny.. Before he left he looked back and smiled... Sorry for going on I just need people to talk to lol... I want to call him but I am kinda scared to call because I will feel stupid but I don't know.. Lol...

Yeah, just make the call. If you do, and he's unreceptive, then you can get mad at him and move on. But if you don't you might regret it and get mad at yourself, which is harder to get over.

If your adventures piss people off, they'll call you a slut. If you make out with someone’s ex-boyfriend, brother, or crush, she'll call you a slut. Once enough girls are calling you a slut, guys will start to do it too, and you'll get a cute little nickname. Girls are much quicker to label someone a slut than a guy is.

Seriously, it’s ok to experiment and have fun. You’re in high school, that’s what it’s there for. But just be careful about letting yourself be used, or leading guys on. Those kinds of things will get you slutted, quick. And high school can be freakin’ lethal with rumors. I knew a girl who everyone labeled a slut and she got the nickname “the butt-plug” because it was rumored she loved anal sex. She was a virgin, barely ever kissed a guy. I think it all started because some girl’s boyfriend had a crush on her, and she went nuts. High school is vicious, and people want to believe mean things about people, whether logic agrees with them or not. I guess what I’m trying to say…is be careful.
