i havent had a real girlfriend in 1 1/2 years, but i have no idea why. i used to have girls asking for my number every day several years ago, but now it seems that no girls are interested.

70 percent of the time im quiet and keep to myself, but the other time i goof off. i have a good number of friends, but it just seems that girls dont talk to me.

i try to smile when im walking around and i even try to think of something funny to get a natural smile, but ive had several people say that i look like a serial killer when im bored.

a lot of girls seem to look at me in the halls, but i cant tell if they like me, or if they just look at me becuase they think im weird or something.

i will try to post a picture of myself soon. i not fat, im not skinny, mostly muscle. im 5 foot 9 and around 190 (most of the weight it muscle), and i usually keep my hair about middle fingers length and i rarely gel it.

can anyone give me tips that would help my success with girls?

I dunno dude. From what i've learned through my 17 year trek through life is that girls only care about two things: 1. social status and 2. looks.

If you got both of those and still no one likes you i dunno what to say. If there's more they care about i certanily haven't seen it.

"Several years ago" means how many years? It's possible that you may be unaware that your mental and emotional development hasn't progressed much since you were last a ladies' man.

This isn't meant to insult your maturity. I simply mean that what worked back then doesn't work now. What worked then appealed to greater numbers of females. Now they're looking for something else. All this means is that it takes more time to find someone compatible. If you want to go changing your personality to suit others, I'm not good at that sort of advice, but I'm sure someone else is.

You walk around smiling and wondering why girls are looking at you? Why don't you try talking to one and finding out? The "waiting for girls to come talk to you" approach is not your best best.

Ha, I have nearly the same problem. People seem to get funny looks on their faces when I make eye contact with them. Sometimes it bothers me, and sometimes it doesn't.

I would try talking to some of them, but there is never a good oppritunity for me to do so. either they never have any classes with me, or whenever i see them they are surrounded by other people.

cidney- when i said several years ago, i meant 2-3. back then i was actually goofier and more outgoing than i am now, but it seemed that as i got older, people started not to like be as outgoing and goofy.

From my experience, he's totally right. And I can't see the 100-150 girls in my college (all of whom seem to take this approach) as being sluts.

Then ovbiously you just use that to make yourself feel better as to why you don't get girls.

Either your a pussy and don't know how to treat a girl/talk without sounding like a psychopath, or your just a nerd and need to find a nerd girl and wonder why super cheerleader over there doesn't like you.

keep in mind, you need a lot of self control to do so. youve got to summon the strength not to laugh in their faces or start yawning after listening to 3 minutes of their boring, stupid ass conversation.

ya, people tend to say that when im thinking, it seems like im plotting a murder...anywho..ya..i also have the problem of people looking at me in the halls...maybe the trench coat...who knows...anywho...cant really help other then talk to them, chicks wont come to you...generally...
