this last friday night was my high school prom. I asked this one girl out for it, and she said yes. We went, had a great time, and i was thinking about asking her out again... After leaving the prom, we hop into a taxi cab and proceed towards the hotel where the after party is. During the cab ride, she busts out her cell phone and calls up her boyfriend......i just get cast aside like a dirty rag after waxing the car all night, and some other guy gets to fucking drive it. I find out the dude is 21, which is why he didn't want to go to the prom thing, and why she let me take her. Fucking huge waste of time, money, and not worth the depression that it brought on. I suck when it comes to laying game on girls, and when i actually do build up the nerve to do it, it always seems to backfire, and make me feel belittled. It always seems to be outside forces that are beyond my control as well, but it still seems like it was my fault somehow. i'm just confused..... Sorry this post isn't really a question or anything, i'm just venting.

shit like this doesn't happen all the time, its only happened once or twice, i just don't make many attempts at getting with girls because it usually end up leading nowhere, or somehting like this happens, so for a long while afterwards i just have the mindset that it's not worth the time or effort. I basically just don't know anything about interacting with girls on an intimate level. I can talk with them casually and as friends, but when it comes to anything more than that, i just can't think of shit to say, and what i can think of usually sounds dumb in my head, so i don't say it.

This shit happening is also making me realize that i'm almost done with high school, and the farthest i've goten with a girl is some light kissing. and that was like once a while ago. Even the hella nerdy ass kids from my school were like making out with their dates during this prom thing.

Okay, here is how I see it. You go on a first date to learn about the person. If you are in so deep at that point that you can get hurt, then you are doing something wrong. If you find out she is a bitch first thing, then at least you did not have to learn the hard way. Just say goodbye and move on. Chewing out a girl for acting up is a privilege she has to earn. Don't waist your energy on someone you just went out with once.

Basically it seemed like she didn't tkae her boyfriend because he's 21, and wou;dn't have wanted to go, but she could have at least warned me beforehand. It definately wasn't a "lets go as friends" thing, cause i'm not very close with this girl to begin with, otherwie i mighjt have known she had a BF. whatever....fuck it. I'm not really pissed about this incident anymore, i'm more just depressed about the fact that i've never really done anything with girls in general, and i'd like to, but i just don't know how to get things started......
