Things changed in the last day or two. My girlfriend and I broke up, and I made the decision to leave my apartment at college and move back into my Dad's house. I'll have a job at one of the fanciest restraunts in town, and practically have my own place.

I'm going to miss her. She's staying here, since she has a job here. We don't hate each other, we just don't feel like we can get along anymore, and it tears me up inside how nice we are to each other now that the decision has been made. Because we know we only have a little while left with each other.

It's actually a little exciting though. I'm going to have practically my own place, complete with hot tub, waterbed, and pool table, right on the shore of an oxbow lake off the Mighty Mississippi. Don't let that sentence fool you, it's a shithole. Maybe I'll post some pics of my new pad...

So this being my last summer as a teenager, I believe I should make the most of it. I'm going to have free reign to do whatever I want. It's been a while since I found myself in this situation, and it's a little strange. Whether good or bad, I know it will turn out to be interesting and maybe even a little fun.

Of course at the same time, I have to endure the memory of her...and wonder if I'm really doing the right thing...

I don't know what kind of response I'm looking for on this...in fact, this all seems pretty ridiculous, but I've typed too much at this point to just forget about it, so here you are, totse. Discuss.
