Okay, I have a friend, but the thing is, he's more of a friend-of-a-friend, and he has a girlfriend. Now his girlfriend has in the past couple of weeks been coming on to me, well... maybe. She has been talking about some very personal things with me, she's shown me some "interesting things", and has been chillin' with me a lot for the past few weeks. She is older than me by like 2 years, and her boyfriend, is about the same, but that doesn't really matter.

Now here is the thing that confuses me, although she has been doing these things, she has never made a direct comment that would suggest that she is interested in me. She is also still going out with her boyfriend, but as I understand their relationship with eachother has not been too great lately.

What I want to know is how could I find out, preferably indirectly, if she's serious or if she's just fucking around. Also, if she's serious, I would definately be interested in persuing her, in which case, I could use some advice for that.

Sorry, I know this is a mouthful of questions, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get her drunk that way if you ask her whats up just say you were drunk and didnt know what you were talking about. Now as for the girl even if you do anything under no circumstances dont hook up with her cause she will cheat on you just the same

IMO i think the's talking to you personally about stuff just because she can't do it with her boyfriend....she is probably with him cuz of a physical attraction.....while she finds you compelling in the intellectual department.....in the end...she wants someone to talk to and someone to fuck....you figure out where you are at...and if you don't wanna be talk buddies...step up your game a little bit...as mentioned above alcohol works wonders especially with benzo's.....haha....you didn't hear that from me....

Her confusing behavior is normal. Don't expect her to make a first move. It happens, but not often.

How do you know if she really likes you? Don't ever ask this question. There are a few reasons why:

First, you can't read minds. Sorry, you just can't. You may get good at guessing, but you could be wrong.

Second, focusing on this makes you uncertain and that will fuck up your game. Want to come off as insecure and unconfident...then try to read her every move and wonder if she really likes you.

Third, there is no real answer. If you were married for 30 years, she would know you well enough to know if she likes you. Right now she does not know you that well. She may think one way for a moment or longer, but things right now have no foundation and can change very quickly either way. How you act will influence her.

Then what should you do? Don't try to read her. Just assume she likes you and act as if that is true till she puts the breaks on. Don't care about the possibility of rejection AND don't consider it possible unless it happens. That is how you have the attitude that will make you act in a manor that will give you your best shot.

Hmm... I donno about getting her drunk, but meh. I have also considered the fact that she would cheat on me if I hooked up with her, but the fact is, as I mentioned above, their relationship ain't doing too well right now and it was AFTER they started having problems that she started chillin' with me. But honestly I don't find it much of an excuse for cheating, if that is what she's doing.

Oh well, if for nothing else she will be good for releasing some stress.

Easy Going gave the best advice so far, tho just for kicks, i think the alcohol would be interesting, lol, wouldn't recommend it tho if you have any decency/morals, however if you don't, drink away!

Well umm.. where should I start. The guy is a little over 6" tall, he has a bit of a belly, and hes got sort of a double chin thing going on. I have pondered the question, "What does she see in him?" many times. You see, this girl is fucken hot, like seriously, and him... well the vague description above explains it pretty well. But then again, there is more to liking someone than just looks so meh...

Besides that.... when you are just "chillin'" with her, ask her what made her go out with him in the first place. Act as curious as possible so that she thinks you're genuinely asking and not fishing. Then, post her reply here and maybe it will help us help you!
