Hiya. I was seeing a girl for about 5 months. by about the 2nd month during this relationship she started getting obsessed with the band busted. Now liking them i dont mind but she is obsessed. Everytime i talked to her about something she would always compare me to one of the members from busted or when i was talking to her she would read a busted magazine.

Now over this 5 month relationship we broke up twice because of it. She also ignores me when her friends are there and she never even says hello when i see her and she is talking to them. just ignores me. Sometimes shes alright and we can talk without a mention of the band. thats why i still love her. She's alright when shes on her own. She says "i have trouble expressing my feelings towards you to my friends and i dont have an obsession with busted i just like they're music." Well if this is the case why does she say he's sexy when im there? She wants to get back again now after a 2 week speration she says "Shes changed" but shes said this before and she hasnt.

Should i belive her or is she just toying with me?

I had a girl once like that... And after 5 months i sensed sth wrong... But I loved her, so I ignored it... Took me through 2 hard months and then I finally broke up... Not easy. I was heart-broken, but I had to stay true to myself as well.

maybe you could talk about something you like so that she knows what it feels like- without being mean. Dont make her feel bad about herself, just let her know that you have interests as well.

And it wouldn't hurt to express your feelings around her..it might make it easier for her to do the same.

Explain to her that it makes you feel inadequate when she talks about the "hot busted guy" in front of you. If you feel you must measure up to the standards of a celebrity, let her and yourself realise its not a reality.
