Default Passion

I am an extremely passionate person. I'm passionate in my friendship, my respect, my dedication to any one thing, my anger, my hatred, my love.

This passion of mine is somewhat responsible for my hyperemotionalisms and overreactions to mostly innocuous things. It has caused quite a few problems.

As for love..part of the reason it hurts me so bad is because I'm so passionate about it. Once I love someone, or fall in love with someone, I'm in love with her the rest of my life, even after the relationship is dead and gone. I'll never forget her, I'll always wonder "what would it be like if we had done things differently?", I'll always remember the way you touched my heart, and why, and all the things I like about you, even if it ends up sour.

It's that undying love of mine that causes me problems, that makes me overthink, that makes me sadden myself by trying to rationalize pointless things or to fantasize, whether of a sexual nature or not.

But also..I have a feeling that it's that very same passion that will enable me to love my future life partner forever and to be loved back.

No point to this thread, I'm just thinking out loud, and figured someone might think it interesting.

My love is an undying one. It's never, ever easy to earn, but once you do, girl..I'll love you forever and ever.

I don't know if I should recognize this as a good emotion, or if it's a flaw. I guess it all depends.

I'm the same way, yes.

Were you raised mainly by your mother? I am under the impression that this is a nurture "issue," but I might be wrong.

Anyway, I whole-heartedly agree; generally, my friends think I am the most passionate person they have ever met.

Passion, as you have found, can be a great ally or a mother fucker that bites you in the arse!

I understand what you are saying...Believe me...I have the same passion when it comes to love.

I still love the two girls I did fall in love with.

One from 3 years ago...The other who is my ex (but she's crazy so I'm gonna tread carefully with the future between us!)

As for the hatred and anger parts...Well...I've had them all my life.

Once I truly hate something, it's on the list and will never be stricken!

My passionate anger and hatred have driven me to do some really stupid and regretable things in my life.

Maybe that's why they all called me psycho...I never did find out the true reason!
