As some people have said though ask them why they don't like her or if they know something. One of my friends is with some ho I said was too psychotic for him. He ignored me and it has really damaged our friendship because now we don't talk or hang out as much. Sometimes he will come over to my house, get a call, and say he has to go home. Later I'll be driving by his girlfriends house and see his car parked out front. She is so possesive of him and gets mad when he even talks to other girls or talks to his friends when she is with him. Just be careful.

Get to know the girl before you ask her out. Talk to her friends, talk to her teachers (if they're cool), and most importantly, talk to her. Find shit out, and if she seems like your piece of pie, start dropping hints. If you play you're cards right, she may just ask you out before you ask her, and believe me, it takes quite a load off when she asks you before you ask her. your friends are fuckwits. no real friend would drop you cos of some girl. they may not like her, but they should respect your opinion and if you make a stand and go with your gut instinct they will accept it if they're real friends. if they're just a pack of arseholes then they'll drop you and it'll be no great loss, but at least they'll respect your conviction even if they don't like you for it.
