So I am going out with this girl I like tomorrow for the first time. I am looking for ideas on something fun to do. I want to really inpress her not just do something boring like dinner and a movie. If anyone has any good ideas let me know. Thanks?

Hmm... respective ages and dating experience could help us more. But from the way you ask, I "assume" its relatively new, and your relatively young. Dinner is usually good, just pick a unique place. And think about what you know about her, and pick things that coincide with her personality so she has fun.

I've normally found that just hanging out somewhere can be really fun.

Whether that be at a park or at a shopping centre.

It never really mattered to me because as long as I was getting to know them more, it was all good.

If you do choose the hanging out thing, make sure to let her know that it's because you want to get to know her better...You'll get more browny points!

Concerts are always a good thing, money dependable. Movies are good, but kinda standard. A meal fits in really well, you can make it a date on it's own if you go to a proper resturaunt or if you go to an average restaurant you can have it on the side. Cokking yourself is a bit of a venture and I wouldn't recomend it if you live with your parents. If your far enough into a relationship you might want to think about a romantic night at a beach or preferably a weekend. A hotel or beach house works, just don't act like your looking to score.



I'd also like to add that if anybody has any ideas for pre-concert dates, preferably not too expensive cause I've already blown a fair amount on other stuff. I'd be rather appreciative.

if all else fails just go for a walk around, i mean dates dont always gotta be dinner, the movies, shopping... most the time on a first date it's nice to just walk around, or sit and chill somewhere and talk... but i dunno... all the aobve are very good suggestions also

Bowling! Bowling is sooo goddamn fun. We have this place called Mel's Bowl in Alameda. It's an arcade/bowling alley/pool hall. Bring her somewhere like that. There's bound to be something that she'll dig.

^^Best idea! I always enjoy goofy stuff like that, plus mini golf and roller skating (do people still do that?) The picnic idea is also nice, especially at one of those parks that have rowboats or something.

Something casual and fun that allows you to interact is optimal. Concerts, movies, theater and such are nice, but they don't encourage interaction. You're both just spectators.

Take her to a casino and 0wn everyone at the baccarat table, while sipping vodka martinis. Shaken, not stirred. With your winnings rent the most expensive hotel room and give her a massage with Norah Jones playing the piano in the background.

She'll be damn impressed.

Or you can look up any events going on in the local paper. My friend took his girlfriend to the Shaolin monks wheel of life kung-fu show. She dug that. There are many cool events happening where I live with the comedy and film festivals. A few concerts as well.

Cook her dinner and take her out somewhere, i dunno what there is to do around you but take her out afterwards, go for a walk in the park or something and talk to her, then buy her ice cream, or buy me ice cream.

There's nothing better than having someone else feed you.
