Okay guys. There's this girl I've liked for some time. I've been hanging around friends of friends of hers slowly making my way into her inner circle and now it's safe to say I'm friends with her. She lets me goto her house to hang out and watch videos and she comes to my place as well.

Okay and then one day I brought her home and my little brother was there doing his thing making a sandwich. He's eleven, I'm seventeen. Anyways I introduce them (I secretly thought something like "Meet the woman who will one day be your sister-in-law!") He said "hi" and then it happened. She kissed him on the cheek. Me and my brother were both a little freaked. He handled it well for an eleven-year-old and politely went away. My friend and I went to my room, hung out and then said goodbye. By that time I dismissed the strange event and figured it was just something they did in her family.

I was wrong.

I brought her over a few more times and she's met with my little brother. She seems to want to hang around him more when she's at our house. Now we all just hang out in my little brother's room and we set up my PS2 in there. I felt we had spent to much time at the house so I asked her if she'd wanna go to the mall and maybe see a movie after or something. A date if you will. She agreed grabbed her coat and then made it a point to go to backyard where my brother was inflating his bike to invite him. It get better. When we were at the mall she bought him a Nike jacket. She thought he'd look cute in it. I offered to pay since he was my brother but she insisted on it. She said I could get him some more clothes.

And then...

The store where I worked after school was closed because the owner had to go away. I come home and there she is talking with my little brother with cake and coffee. Then she says "Oh! I didn't think you'd be home early!" I'm not sure if she was surprised, delighted or dissapointed but this whole thing with my brother has gotten a little weird for me.

I don't want to talk to my friend about it because she'll think I'm paranoid or something and never want to get closer with me but I think I'm allowed to be a little suspicsious. I talked to my little brother. I just asked him what he thought about my friend. He said she was cool. He said this while avoiding eye-contact and blushing. He obviously likes her like I do.

Okay guys. What the hell should I do?

You have a fucking right to ask her whats up with her and your little brother. He's 11 for Christ sake, and she's what 17? Can someone say Michelle Jackson?

Talk to her politely about it though, it's fucked up. Just I don't know. Then tell her you like her.

This is a very weird situation. True, females do some weird things. I can imagine motives both benign (wanting to make a good impression? a stretch...) and malign (wanting to do something weird to turn you off, or actually wanting your brother).

My brother is somewhere around 5ft. My friend is 17. The Jacket was around $55 USD.
