I alwasy thought it was the ammount of urine that built up during your sleep, and that your body gives yourself the "morning wood" so you don't piss yourself.

I dont know about that, because I can urinate while erect.

Same. I actually save my urin in semin in serperate jars that way I can release it all into the wild at the end of the year.

Staying on topic, I have a question. I'm 17 and used to get morning wood a lot, but for the past year to year and a half I have rarely gotten it. I'm sexually active, if that has anything to do with it.

It's because when you're sleeping your blood distribution isn't weighed down by gravity, and once the blood reaches your wood, it stays there because its warm, and we all know what else is warm, so the body assumes you're going to use it.

The majority of things I've been told about morning wood seems to say that it's caused by a full bladder applying pressure on the vas deferens, and stimulating something, and then something else happening, and so on, and then you get a hard on.

Only if you have to go really really bad, and hold it in for a long time, and you're sitting down, usually.
