Default wrong to take advantage?

Is it wrong to take advantage of people

who are either rebounding, coming off a bad relationship, or stupid?

There are so many out there, feeling guilty.

So far not a twinge, but wtf

i had a friend(i hate him now) who like played his game from all those... he always bragged about having sex and shit...

if you dont think its bad by all means do it... but hell... if it was me id look for an ice girl id want to be with or a close friend not just some sobbing bitch who after the sex will be talking bout how her life sucks for 40 mins till you pull out your knife and cut her throat... ok the throat cutting was a joke but id rather NOT take advantage of someone... but thats me

If the sex is great, i didn't mind the inane chatter. One is in a horrible marriage, the other is daughter of a pastor, plus i'm just out of a marriage. Well, i'm enjoying it.

Fuck it.

I feel it is totally wrong to take advantage of someone. But then again I'm also against premaritual sex....to a certain extent I guess....but I'm just weird like that....Anyway, yea, I'm against taking advantage of someone but then again everyone else's morals have sunken low enough that they are beginning to consider women property again and not actual people...do you want to be that low? Didn't think so. Anyway,

This is the sort of issue which, if you have to ask the question you asked, likely it does bother you on some level. As long as you're not the sort who ever feels "ripped off" or "conned" or "taken advantage of" (by anyone/ any business, be it a mechanic, plumber, food server or the IRS) at least you're not a hypocrite. After all, if you were dumb enough to get taken by any of them or others, more power to 'em, right?

Morals and ethics, like religion, are there for those who wish to use them.

Wrong.

I don't see any morality in the "might (whether physical or intellectual) makes right" standard.

^^um, duh. I was making a point using sarcasm.

The point was that if one felt it was ok to "take advantage of" people on a certain level, then he's a hypocrite if he has complaints about being "taken advantage of" by others, in whatever form.

It's hazy, man. If you hardcore seduce someone who's married or involved just because you can, that's not cool. But if she's giving off the vibe, and you just give her the nudge.. eh.. I wouldn't, but it's another one of those situational things. If she's not happy and you can make her happy, maybe it's not a bad thing to do.

Of course, if she jumps your bones, all bets are off.

Edit: Same holds for stupid and rebounding people.

Okay. I stand corrected.

DC

Can you explain how one would be a hypocrite

by taking advantage of someone and having been abused before?

Just feel like I'm learning the game is all.

^^^what dc is saying is that there isn't much difference between a person getting ripped off some money by a sly business man and a person getting taken advantage of sexually.

So if you are ok with taking advantage of people sexually, then it would be hypocritical of you to critisize someone that takes advantage of you financially. Although I think that taking advantage of someone sexually has much more potential for permanant damage/hurt.

There is a difference between taking advantage of circumstances and fraud and force. People who have reached the age of concent and do concent are fair game. What you going to do...regulate relationships?
