There is asexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality to name a few which can't even begin to fit into a not black not white space. Curiosity doesn't make someone gay. Sexual behavior doesn't entirely define someones sexuality. Just because a guy wants to know what it feels like to have anal sex does not mean that he is gay by any means. It is a gay act, but not necessarily a gay person. It shows an openness to sexuality, rather than a sheepish shy view. If the curious girl or boy realizes that he or she would prefer sexual activity with another person of the same sex, and can see doing it on a continuing basis, they are homosexual. If they could have an emotionally stable relationship with a person of the same sex, they are homosexual. But if they just want to explore, they aren't gay.
