After sex I always fall asleep, like almost instantly. I used to stay up and have a laugh and chat with the missis, but i just roll over and sleep now. I feel really guilty about it but i've got a habit formed. Do you girls out there actually mind about your bloke sleeping straight after? What can I do to break this habit of mine?

I tend to have a smoke afterwards and chat...It's about getting my attention with a good conversation that stops me falling asleep.

If the girl isn't a stunning conversationalist, then chances are I'll fall asleep straight away!

I'd probably still fall straight asleep if I was offered a grand on a plate though. Having a cig is a good idea, but I gotta go outside, which in theory would keep me awake!

Caffene would probably not work on me. Sex for me is a bit of an on/off switch. Anyone get the same feeling? The problem is during sex i'm pretty much always the one doing the work if you know what I mean, so it tires me out even more. Sammiches don't do a great deal for me, and even if she was to make me one I'd fall asleep during the making process.

Try changing the time of day you have sex. If this happens no matter when you do it, or how awake you are before and during, and you're not having fatigue problems during the day normally, I'd say you probably just don't care enough to stay awake anymore. At least you have enough of a conscience to understand it makes you look like a right bastard.

As long as she doesn't care then I don't see why you should feel any guilt.

The male orgasm releases chemicals that tend to knock ya out, it's natural to be sleepy and mellow afterwards.

I tend to fall asleep right after too, unless there's something pending or important to talk about (are there specific post-sex topics of discussion that I just haven't heard about?) Usually sex is something we do right before sleepy time anyway so it's just nice to snuggle up and drift off post-orgasm. I appreciate peace and quiet though, alot of girls don't. Jus' too much jibba' jabba'

I think the only thing that's compulsory after sex is cuddles, and even then she can be the cuddler and you the cuddle-e, if you can't be bothered... you should be bothered at least half of the time though.
