ok well this is really wierd, this is the first girl i have ever dated that i dont feel like lying to, about a month ago she got high(i got pretty pissed at her cz of that) anyways, so she goes online and asks me the most intresting question i heard in a very long time, " do you love me ? ". so i told her the truth, i said " i dont know what love is ", i know that i can get her in bed no problem by telling her all the things she wants to hear, but i dont want to lie to her.

its like i wanna be with her all the time, i dont even look at other girls anymore, you know i would check out a girl just to see her reaction, but still its like when we just like sleep together(no sex) then its like i forget about everything, the money i own, the bullshit in life. like seriousley, what do you guys think love is ?

Love is when you lay in bed at night and all you think about is the person you love. Everything you see/hear/smell reminds you of that her. Its when one day it hits you like bricks and you realize wow I have the greatest fucking girl in the world and nothing can go wrong between us. That my, friend is love.

Love is awsome, im in it deep right now. It only sucks when the other ton of bricks falls on you, the one with sharp jags coming out of it after breaking up. Dont worry about that though.

Hm...I've been in love twice. I'm still in love with the second person, but I've been forced to move on because she got wasted, fucked some guy who I knew was trying to take her from me, and it "meant a lot to her", but the guilt forced her to break up with me. Now I see her every day with him, so happy, and I wonder why I stopped making her so happy. pft...at least I've got a loyal, affectionate girlfriend right now who doesn't make it seem like a chore just to talk to me (towards the end she got really bitchy and shit, and most of the time she's a bitch...but only when he's around).

Yeah, I suppose love is all things mentioned so far in this thread, but it's much more. I'm assuming we're talking "romantic" love here, not the love for your best friend or your mother or your new puppy.

Can you imagine yourself being happy and contented without her in your life? If not, it could be love.

Be careful about proclaiming this, though. I've mentioned before that in a relationship, sometimes love is not enough. If you can't deal with her capriciousness (prone to use drugs, for example) then the relationship won't work, love or not. Love does not conquer all.
