My ex-boyfriend(who has been going out with my best friend for 6 1/2 months) found out a couple of days ago that I slept with his brother just recently(not intentional). He tripped out apparently, and went and told his mom and his sister about it. I could understand why he`d be pissed, but he keeps telling me he`s going to kill me.

I wish this was just one of those things i could shrug off, and just say "oh he`s just mad, he`ll get over it eventually." But I will never take any of his threats lightly.

I don`t know what to do, because I`m honestly scared he`s going to try hurt me or even try to kill me. He`s punched me, kicked me, almost broke my arm and my wrist, and laughed at me when I started to cry about it. For no reason. He has never said he was gonna kill me before, even jokingly.

What should I do? I don`t know who I can tell who will take this seriously, and try to do something about it. I know if I report it, that it would piss him off even more and not solve anything.

Any advice anyone could give me would be appreciated.

If it were me, I would call the police (unless his brother is over 18 and you are under or something of the like... then you might want to be careful about statuatory rape laws). Tell them that he has hurt you before, and you were scared to tell then, but now he is threatening to kill you. They will tell you what their policy is, what is best for you, and where you should go to be safe.

Until you have a chance to contact the police and follow their instructions, dont do anything alone. I dont care if you are sleeping or what no, dont be alone for now. Dont walk to class alone, don't walk to the bathroom alone. If you are with someone else, there is a much less chance of him hurting you.

I would suggest that you invest in some form of security for yourself such as mase. I don't know about school policies about such items, but if the police have not contacted your school (they probably will), then you need to go to your principal or vice principal, explain that someone has threatened your life, and if they do not take the boy away or send you home, I'm sure they wont object to you carrying such an item.

When your life is endangered, calling the police is a good idea. It's serious, and your life is important. Don't lose it because you dont want someone to find out about sex with his brother or you fear not being taken seriously.

His brother is 19 and I am 16. At this point it does`nt really matter who knows about that, I could care less. He goes to my school, and sits behind me and beside me in two of my classes. My school would not at all be surprised if I tell them he has threatened me. I won`t have to see him at school for about a week because he was suspended for telling my history class that everyone should die, and something about blowing up the school.

I just feel that if i call the police they`ll chalk it up to him being pissed off and not meaning it seriously, and with no proof of the matter of him saying this or hurting me before, they can`t really do anything.

I am not sure what the big deal is. I`ve been trying to figure that out myself. He said that he hates his brother and does not want to talk to him. So he can`t do anything about it.

I agree that you should call the cops. It can't hurt to try, and if you are really fearing for your life, nothing should stop your from calling them.

And also, doesn't the brother have anything to say about his brother threatening to kill you? Doesn't he have a problem with that?

If the brother is 19 and the ex is your age, chances are the brother could kick the ex's ass. I'd call up the brother and tell him the problem.

If things look bad, you might consider going to your parents and telling them the situation. A call from your parents to their parents with threats of pressing charges and calling the police if your ex gets anywhere near you would probably do a lot to defuse the situation.

Or you could also just call the brother and tell him straight out to make sure your ex stays away from you or you'll tell your parents and the cops and press charges against the brother for statutory rape.

That would definitely get his attention.

Or anothe idea - you could go back and bone the brother again, and hang with him under his "protection" until things cool down.

I could definetly not tell my mom because she would trip out hardcore and probably blame it on me or something. And she knows my ex-boyfriend.. shes met him many times. lol. And her best friend is there second cousin.. so that would be just way too fucked up. I would`nt want to do anything to his brother anyways...

I definetly like the idea of getting his brother to help. And I will call the cops on him depending on what he says or does when I see him at school.

you guys, in MY state at least, that is NOT statuatory rape. Once you're 16 you're legal for anyone 23 and under. Once you're 18 you're just plain legal. so technically, the police can't get him in trouble for it.

First of all, don't get his brother ino trouble with the law because he may be the only one sheilding you whether you know it or not. Second, If you have any guy friends or confidonts, tell them about it, they migh be able to provide some protection. Parents might be a good idea provided you have the right type (a mom who won't ship you off to a catholic school and a dad who will kill your ex just to make sure he doesn't act first. Police though I hate to admit it may be the right idea tell them it was a rumor that you were with his brother and that he threatened you. Lastly, if shit really goes sour, 2 inch surrated blade, preferably withan inch wide sharp point with a double swerve. If he makes a move put it in his thigh, twist so the wound won't close then run, remeber it isn't murder if you had just cause. and before someone flames me for this I'd like to say I am dead serious. If he makes a move you better kill him because if not he'll either kill you or come back with a gun (this is all asuming that this ex of yours is the kinda guy I think he his [crazy ass sadistic fuck]).
