Heres the thing.....I have no sex drive. I am 21 years old. To tell the truth i have masturbated about three time in my life. I have had sexualy relations pleanty of timw with men, but i have never had the desire to be sexual..I dont get horny like other people....I dont really have the eruge to masturbate and somtimes when i am sexual I am even distcusted. I guess my question would be, why am i not like everyone else and horny all the time or at least a little...Even when someone tries to turn me on i dont really gt excited......HELP I need advice

i guess you have really low estrogen levels (or is it testostorone??)...or something wrong with your hormones.....have you ever had fantisies of being with other women

Need some medical history...Do you take any medications, or have you ever? Any surgeries? Do you get along with your parents? Any weight issues: over/under, bulimia, anorexia? Any head injuries? At what age did you start menstruating? Are your cycles regular? If not, how irregular? Were you raised with a strong religious influence? Do you sleep regularly?

I think a general lack of sex drive is uncommon, but not abnormal.

I am not currently taking any medications..When i was little i had epilespsy and took medications, i didn't take any medication for that since i was like 13....No surgeries eever...I get along great with my mom, but i have never got along with my father...We habve a very shitty relationship, we always have....I am about 5'6 and 110 LBS, so i guess i am underwight..i am not anorexic or bulemic bout i am very self conscious person about my apperance...I have been on the depo shot foe ever so my cycles are always fucked up...I believe in god and my own beliefs..io do not believe in worshipping a bood of any sorts..I wnt to a all girls catholic school until i moved to america at age 13...I was born and raised in South AFrica.....And i have always had a hard time getting to sleep, but once i am a sleep there is no problem..Thank you for your help.......

I get like that sometimes. Like right now I don't have much sex drive, it depends on my confidence. When I feel confident and on top of the world I'm usually horny, if I feel worthless I don't want anyone near me. Do you like yourself?

You've been on the depo shot forever.. have you ever gone off it for any reason since you started? If so, for how long?

Spiffy is on to something here. Birth control, taken for long periods of time with no gaps can severely lower your sex drive. I had to go on lower dosages because this happened to me while I was on the pill.

If you can, try going off of it for awhile. I know with depo, it can be months, maybe even a year before your cycles will be normal again, but that may be what is suppressing your sex drive.

There are a few reasons for this (that I can think of)



You've said how you have low confidence.

This may play a big part in your sexuality.

If you feel unattractive, then feeling sexy is almost imposible.

If you hate your body, feel grotesque, chances are, any sexual feeling you DO start to have will come screeching to a halt as soon as you think of your body, or see it.

Also, being underweight can kill sex drive.

I know Ana/Mia makes a person into a sexless monster (it certainly feels that way sometimes)

But you say you are not either of them.

Perhaps you are too underweight though.



After a certain weight, you stop functioning sexually, You stop menstruating, everything starts to shut down.

you might have a schizoid personality

Are you on antidepressants?

If you are, that's almost definitely the issue.

Otherwise, you may just have a low sex drive. It wouldn't make you a freak or anything.

You could get some of those new libido inhancers or something.

Anyways, I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you feel like something is missing from your life.
