I have a problem about being paranoid during and after sex. I get so worried about the condom breaking or somehow impregnating my girlfriend, even when I know things are really safe, and it ruins the fun of sex for me...I know there isn't really anything anyone can say, but i'm pissing myself off about it :/

Make sure you follow all the instructions on the condom packet and put it on properly and everything. Then have sex safe in the knowledge that if the condom breaks and she is inpregnated then you can sue the company.

Alternativly you follow all the instructions and buy the extra safe condoms with spermicide inside. Also make sure that your gf is on the pill and have some money spare to spend on the morning after pill if you found that it had broken.

Dont forget to talk to your gf about this - make sure that she promises to take the pill and not to keep the baby if she does end up pregnant.

Understandable. Perhaps you could use one of those contraceptive foams or inserts as a back-up. Know also that emergency contraception exists if the condom breaks. You might even try to get some in advance so you have it on hand.

If you two are close enough, she may consider one of the hormonal methods. I'd suggest the new Nuva Ring, patch or Depo-Provera as they don't require vigilant and precise pill-taking.

Are the spermicide extra-safe condoms harder to find than regular ones, or can they just be bought from a chemist/shop?

Why would you use a condom on your dog for? Dogs cant get pregnant by human sperm. If you wanted to, you could aways go to the vet and get her fixed.

just go to cvs or kroger pharmacy or walgreens, they all have shitloads of condoms in any size, shape, and color you need. spermicidic lubed ones arent that hard to find at all, in fact the majority of them are starting to head down that path.

don't get lubed ones, the lubrication eats away at the condom material and it can cause it to not work. so dont use those.

Spefically, I believe, it's with petroleum-based lubes, such as Vaseline or baby oil (which is often mineral oil).

You make some good points cindy, but if I was so paranoid about driving that every time i did it i was a nervous wreck and feared for my life, i'd probably start taking the bus. If the kid's that afraid, why bother doing something he doesn't feel right about. Everyone i ever talk to about sex is always like "just do it when it feels right", "it's your body, listen to it", "when you're in love and ready for sex, enjoy it", etc. This guy should take some of that advice.
